Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I'm looking for a belt clip for Sennheiser SK100 ?

A: BH #SE543660 is the replacement belt clip for the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter.

Q: 2. Will the A: 516-558 body pack sync with a G: 566-608 receiver?

A: In order to sync properly, the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (A: 516 to 558 MHz) must be paired with a Sennheiser receiver on the same frequency range, and more specifically, on the same exact frequency. Two wireless components on different frequency ranges will not communicate with each other whatsoever.

Q: 3. Is there a drop in charger for the belt pack transmitters

A: Yes. The transmitter includes two standard alkaline AA batteries, but can also be powered using the optional Shure SB903 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for SLX-D Transmitters (B&H # SHSB903). To charge the SB903 battery while inside the transmitter, you can use the Shure SBC203 Dual-Docking Recharging Station for SB903 Batteries & SLX-D Transmitters (B&H # SHSBC203US) which accommodates two SLX-D transmitters or an individual SB903 battery can be charged with the Shure SBC10-903 Single-Battery Charger for SB903 Battery (B&H # SHSBC10903US). Standard rechargeable AA batteries can be used with the SLX-D transmitter, but, can not be charged with either the SBC203 or SBC10-903 chargers or while they are inside the transmitter.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Sennheiser EK 100 G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver? Or is it only compatible with the EM 100?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser SK 100 G4 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter (A1: 470 to 516 MHz) would work with the Sennheiser EK 100 G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver. Just make sure that the frequency range of the transmitter matches that of the receiver.

Q: 5. will a AT829CW michrophone work with this?

A: Yes

Q: 6. What Receiver works with this unit?

A: The Shure MXW1 Hybrid Bodypack Transmitter with Microphone (Z10: 1920 to 1930 MHz) is designed to integrate into a larger "networked" audio system and uses transceivers from Shure's MXW line such as the Shure MXWAPT2 2-Channel Access Point Transceiver (BH #SHMXWAPT2Z10) to communicate with the larger system. The MXWAPT2 feeds a unit such as the Shure MXWANI4 4-Channel Audio Network Interface (BH #SHMXWANI4) for further system integration.

Q: 7. Does this receiver work with Shure SLX1 518-542MHz?

A: This receiver is the P3R. Designed to operate with the PSM300 monitoring system only . If you are interested in a portable receiver to operate with the SLX transmitters, the FP series receiver is compatible when purchased in the proper frequency range.

Q: 8. Is this large enough to fit a transmitter and receiver at the same time?

A: It is difficult to say; if it is just transmitter and receiver, then yes. But if it includes lavalier type microphone with cable, then possible it may not fit.

Q: 9. what accu batteries can I use for Sennheiser SK 100 G4 transmitter ?

A: The below are compatible: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324393-REG/Sennheiser_BA2015G2_BA_2015G2_Rechargeable_Battery.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/324394-REG/Sennheiser_L2015G2_Charging_Station.html Power Requirements Battery Battery Type 2 x AA (Included) 1 x Sennheiser Accupack (Not Included, Replaceable)

Q: 10. What receiver works best with this base?

A: The Shure MXW1 Hybrid Bodypack Transmitter with Microphone (Z10: 1920 to 1930 MHz) is designed to integrate into a larger "networked" audio system and uses transceivers from Shure's MXW line such as the Shure MXWAPT2 2-Channel Access Point Transceiver (BH #SHMXWAPT2Z10) to communicate with the larger system. [0.725 lb] Just used four of these on a show and they performed beautifully.

Super easy to use, great battery life with NiMh AAs and they sound excellent. Easily got 7 hours on 10mw, probably around 3-4 on 35mw but 10mw is more than enough for most situations, and when I had to use 35mw mode, the extra output power really makes a difference so changing batteries a few times is fine with me.

The automatic gain is no joke, it just works to the point where I even forgot about, I just kept rolling and only had to touch the gain on my mixer. You never hear any artifacts or pumping and the dynamics of the speakers voice are always naturally preserved, it really feels like the gain knob is being adjusted in real time as opposed to any sort of compression or limiting.

The only thing I would knock it for is it's size, it's pretty big (think same thickness as a G4 but a little taller), which makes it tough for some outfits for narrative work, but I'm not going to take a star off because it's built like a tank and feels like you could hammer a nail in with it.

It's also significantly cheaper than any other transmitter from any other system. That means you can break into the Axient ecosystem very affordably (relatively speaking) and get the performance you need even if it means having to do an ankle rig.

If you can go for the ADX1 or ADX1M, I would say go for it, but considering the price difference, the AD1s are a fantastic choice.

[3.2 ms] Works great. Sounds great.

In regards to the plastic pack that the other guy complained about, there's price points. If you want a metal pack buy the qlxd model. You will spend more money, go figure.

[3.2 ms] Used with a headset microphone, and also with adapter cord to a keyboard. Transmitter has adjustable gain, so it can be set to match the handheld transmitter also on the same channel. Usually get 10-15 hours per pair of alkaline AA batteries.
