The black Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic for Lectrosonics Transmittersis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 2.5mm waterproof locking connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics WM wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it provide phantom power?

A: No, the Lectrosonics SPDR does not provide phantom power, although it provides 2-4V plugin power for lavalier microphones.

Q: 2. Does this work with the Zhiyun Crane 2 power output?

A: Not that we are aware of. This is only compatible with select ANDYCINE On-Camera Monitors.

Q: 3. I have 3 411a being fed via smda's and smqv's and 2 sets of LT/LRs. They're all different blocks from 470 to 22. Would two of these work for all of my sets at the same time if I used a splitter? Or do I have to get two for each band?

A: Hello. This is Nick at Lectrosonics Tech Support. The SNA600a has an effective bandwidth of approximately 100MHz, 50MHz above and 50MHz below the center frequency that you set by adjusting the length of the antenna's arms. However, the sensitivity rolls off gradually above and below the +/- 50MHz points. The SNA600a measures less than 2:1 SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) from 465-850 MHz when the antenna arms are fully extended. In other words, depending on your application (range, RF output power settings on transmitters, obstruction to line of sight between transmitters and receivers, etc.) the SNA600a may work for you over greater than 100MHz bandwidth. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email me directly at nick.mariano@lectrosonics.com or call 800-821-1121 x171 or ask for Nick if reception picks up the call. Q: 4. How i setup Lectrosonics SNA600a or Sennheiser A2003UHFwith Sennheiser Reiceiver 112G3? Is it feasible?

A: The SNA600a is like a slide rule. You loosen the screws and adjust the length so it matches the scale to the frequency you are operation on. Then tighten the screws and rotate the 2 arms so they are at 90 degreed to the scale. The Sennheiser antenna is not adjustable and covers the whole of the UHF range. These are 2 different kinds of antennas. The SNA600a is omnidirectional and the Sennheiser A2003UHF is directional. Which one is best would depend on the situation you are working in. Think of an omnidirectional mic vs. a cardioid. They have different pickup patterns and serve different purposes.

Q: 5. Will this support the newer Canon LP-E6P batteries introduced with the R5 Mark II?

A: Yes. The chargers for the LP-E6P batteries are the same as the current chargers for the LP-E6 and LP-E6NH batteries. So the Jupio Tri-Charge for Canon LP-E6 is compatible.

Q: 6. Is it safe to store batteries in this charger without worrying about self discharge?

A: While it is safe to leave lithium batteries on a charger like the Jupio Tri-Charge for Sony NP-FZ100, the batteries will eventually degrade if charged to 100% for too long without discharging them.

Q: 7. hi is this the new r400a or the old version? the picture is the old one but they discontinued that and called the new one the same model # (it's blue with the rounded front plate)

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics R400A UHF Diversity Receiver is the most recent version. Thank you for pointing out that we still have the photo of the older version. I will have our web team update the images to show the R400A Receiver with its current design.

Q: 8. Can you put your own ball head on this tripod? And is it waterproof?

A: Yes, you can put your own ballhead on. It is not waterproof.

Q: 9. How many volts is the battery?

A: The voltage is 7.4V.

Q: 10. no antena in the box?

A: The Lectrosonics R400a will ship with power supply and 2 antennas.
