Featuring a 290 gsm basis weight, 60% of this paper is made from hemp fibers. The base material has a bright white natural tone, and thanks to the bright white color of the hemp fibers, optical brighteners are not needed. A lightly textured surface gives the paper a silky feel, and the paper provides deep blacks with contrast that stands out with eye-catching effect. Compatible with pigment and dye inkjet systems, the acid- and lignin-free paper has a high age resistance, which makes it well-suited for long-lasting prints in galleries, exhibitions, and museums.

A: Yes it is the same paper by Hahnemuhle. You will be able to use the same ICC profiles.

Q: 2. May I use this Hahnemuhle Etching paper for printing my etching through a printing press? Is it good for use with etching inks? Are there any special coatings on it for photographer's use? Thank you!

A: Hahnemühle Museum Etching Paper is designed for use in inkjet printers. You can experiment using it for other processes but there are no specific known results using this paper with the method you described.

Q: 3. Would this be appropriate paper to use with the Canon PIXMA iP8720?

A: Most of the papers will not work. The printer cannot handle papers that weight more than 200 GSM.

Q: 4. How accurate is the white and is there a color shift regardless of printer?

A: The Photo Luster 290 Inkjet is 110% white and the image will fade over time, unless using a glaze that rejects UV light.

A: Each sheet of paper has a stamp on the back indicating the paper type. I know this is the case by the 8.5 x 11 & I assume the same is by the 13 x 19.

A: The Hahnemuhle Matt Fibre Duo 210 Inkjet Photo Paper has a warm, almost cream like color.

A: You can find the ICC profiles on Hahnemuhle's website at this link:http://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/icc-profiles.htmlThere is a drop down menu that allows you to select your printer brand, model and the paper type. Once you have selected your printer and paper, you will be able to download the profiles.

Q: 9. What is the mil of this fine art paper?

A: It is about 19mil.

Q: 10. With the great reviews for this product. Has anyone tried using this in non hand coated processes? Specifically Bromoil transfers?

A: I have used the paper for cyanotypes and gum bichromate prints.

[25x Sheet Paper] I love the subtle texture of the sugar cane. It doesn't do as well with deep shadow areas as the Photo Rag but it is still a lovely paper. I purchased on box and ordered more afterward. 5

[35 to 65%] I needed art cards to be made for a jewelry display. I needed something thick and with tooth similar to watercolor papers. I tried a lot of papers and this one won out. It was a perfect choice as it makes the digital texture look like art itself! 5

[89%] I'll leave the science to someone else, let's talk intantangibles. Agave has a feel, texture and tonality that lens itself to toned B&W imagery. For me it's that beautiful, subtle, thiourea toner look we strived for in wet prints. On an image with lots of lighter tones, on Agave, we can add just a little highlight warming in post, leaving the blacks alone and get these stunning warm prints, with this beautiful paper texture that creeps through those areas with little to no image detail. 5

[290 gsm] I have a fairly old, Canon inkjet printer. Honestly, I thought it was going to be good for nothing more than printing off standard documents. But oh man, this paper works wonders with this printer. The photos come out bright and have beautiful colors. I recommend this paper 1000%! 5

[12.1 x 9 x 0.8"] I tested all three natural fiber matte papers. I thought Agave had the widest dynamic range, produced a whiter white, and had this really random and natural texture. It is a superb paper. 5

[290 gsm] Just tried Hahnemule Agave Fine Art paper for first time with excellent result using an Epson 3880 printer. The image tones are rich and colors accurate. Peoples first reaction on seeing the images was WOW! The paper feels luxurious. 5
