Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the mil of this fine art paper?

A: It is about 19mil.

Q: 2. Where do I find the ICC Profile for this paper? I have an iMac and an Epson R2880

A: You can find the ICC profiles on Hahnemuhle's website at this link:http://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/icc-profiles.htmlThere is a drop down menu that allows you to select your printer brand, model and the paper type. Once you have selected your printer and paper, you will be able to download the profiles.

Q: 3. What's the single sided equivalent of this paper? It has more texture than the ultra smooth but less than the standard photo rag. Just wondering because I love this paper but don't need double sided. Thanks!

A: The Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White would be the most similar single sided option: https://bhpho.to/3HYbbGg

Q: 4. is this paper double sided?

A: No, this is not a dual sided paper.

Q: 5. With the great reviews for this product. Has anyone tried using this in non hand coated processes? Specifically Bromoil transfers?

A: I have used the paper for cyanotypes and gum bichromate prints.

Q: 6. My prints on this paper seem dull compared to the cotton rag. I am using a Canon 4100 and H's ICC. Thoughts?

A: We are sorry that you are having problems with the Hahnemuhle Museum Etching Fine Art Inkjet Paper 350gsm. Please look for the PDF that was also downloaded with the ICC profiles for the print media settings control transport speed to make sure everything is set correctly.

Q: 7. How many sheets in the box?

A: 25 sheets are included in one box.

Q: 8. A client wants to know about this paper's longevity? What can I tell him?

A: As with most good quality fine art inkjet papers, their archival longevity typically exceeds 30 years. In some of Hahnemuhle's products, the lifespan of a print can be upwards of 200 years. While we couldn't find any archival testing results from them on the Matt Fiber Duo, proper use-case will ensure your prints will last many, many years. For best results, please follow typical archival guidelines, and see Hahnemuhle's website on longevity here: https://www.hahnemuehle.com/en/digital-fineart/longevity.html

Q: 9. I have been using only the Epson Premium lustre paper for a while and I find it leans toward a blue-ish hue. I wanted to try another brand. I have an espon 3880. have you experienced any quirks with this brand?

A: This may be due, at least in part, to your printer's color profile calibration as well.

Q: 10. is this paper double sided for print?

A: No, it is coated for print on only one side. That said, there's nothing to stop you from printing on the back, the the results may not be as good.

[Single] I love the subtle texture of the sugar cane. It doesn't do as well with deep shadow areas as the Photo Rag but it is still a lovely paper. I purchased on box and ordered more afterward.

[99%] I'll leave the science to someone else, let's talk intantangibles. Agave has a feel, texture and tonality that lens itself to toned B&W imagery. For me it's that beautiful, subtle, thiourea toner look we strived for in wet prints. On an image with lots of lighter tones, on Agave, we can add just a little highlight warming in post, leaving the blacks alone and get these stunning warm prints, with this beautiful paper texture that creeps through those areas with little to no image detail.

[Single] This photo cards are gorgeous. They come in a nice metal tin and I could not be happier with the resulting prints of my photos. I also really like the rounded corners and the general feel of the cards. They are a great way to showcase your work and provide high-quality, inexpensive samples to prospective clients.

However, I was dissatisfied with these until I found the right print settings which required two changes. First, I needed to disregard some of the guidance published by Hahnemule that suggested the need to tape your photo cards to a 8.5 by 11 piece of paper and create an image with the letter-sized layout. Instead, I simply choose the 4x6 borderless paper size and have been able to directly load the photo cards in my printer (Canon Pro-10).

Secondly, I had to adjust my printer settings to prevent paper abrasion as this paper is thicker than most media I have run through my printer. Before I did this, I had some visible lines where the print head had scraped against the paper. After applying the setting, this went away.

[Matte] I tested all three natural fiber matte papers.

I thought Agave had the widest dynamic range, produced a whiter white, and had this really random and natural texture. It is a superb paper.

[35 to 65%] I've been using Hahnmuhle paper for nearly two decades. I'd tested previously Bamboo and enjoyed its warmth but I desired a more textured option, albeit with less texture than German Etching. This is the ideal paper for me: warm, great texture, great handling, and carries an image very well. This paper will become a standard for me.

[1.465 lb] I have a fairly old, Canon inkjet printer. Honestly, I thought it was going to be good for nothing more than printing off standard documents. But oh man, this paper works wonders with this printer. The photos come out bright and have beautiful colors. I recommend this paper 1000%!

[25x Sheet Paper] This paper is beautiful, a little heavier texture than some It enhanced the work we printed and the print looks like it was created with felt not a print. I highly recommend it.
