The Shure SLXD14D offers performers, presenters, and musicians a wireless two-person system that's reliable, easy to set up, and features crystal-clear digital sound quality. Built around a rugged, dual-channel, single-rack receiver with removable antennas, the system is ideally suited for portable rigs or long-term installations in small- to medium-sized venues, event spaces, houses of worship, and similar performance environments.

The SLX-D operates in the UHF band to transmit high-quality 24-bit digital audio with over 120 dB of dynamic range for crisp, detailed sound. It utilizes Digital Predictive Switching Diversity to protect the transmission from interference and deliver a solid, reliable RF signal without dropouts.

This configuration comes with two bodypack transmitters which feature a selectable 1/10mW RF power output and a transmission range up to 330'. Each provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries or an SB903 rechargeable battery (available separately). Instrument cables for the transmitters are not included.

The all-metal, rackmount SLXD4D dual-channel receiver features two intuitive LCD interfaces with meters for RF, battery status, and audio outputs. It also offers 60 dB of gain control, and both mic/line XLR and 1/4" instrument outputs for each channel. Additional features include automatic frequency scanning and IR sync to easily link the transmitter and receiver to the same frequency.

With up to 32 mic channels available at the same time, the SLX-D is ready to expand as your needs grow. What’s more, setting up multiple systems is made fast and easy via the Ethernet port, which links them together for quick, coordinated frequency scans from a single receiver.

[2x Bodypack] Solid performance for the money. I get clean coverage all over our church on just low power. And the audio quality is great for this price. The body packs are plastic, so be gentle. A good upgrade from the obsolete analog slx system we had.

[Auto-Scan] I've used the Shure SLXD series now at 8 events. They've been great. I bought the rechargeable batteries and I'm getting 7.5 hours out of them. The setup is fast. They scan the open frequencies in less than 10 seconds. Very happy with this series!

[25 kHz] As a Wedding DJ, I have a console with room for only one 19-inch rack mount mic receiver. I was going to buy two single units, but I didn't want four antennas. I stumbled across the SLX4D4 that's two receivers in one that only uses two antennas... PERFECT! And, it's easy to configure and sounds fantastic!

[0 +21 dB] We decided to go wireless, with a little concern that it may introduce more variables and opportunities for static or dropouts.

After initial success with SLX, I added this, which has beed great success. Love the freedom, strong signal, and full and crisp sound. Sounds better than our quite old wired mics. I was a little concerned if it would pickup stage monitor sound which are right in front of us (wondered if SM58 would be preferable) , but that is no issue whatsoever.

Just added the rechargeable batteries and docking stations and it EVEN BETTER. It provides more precise time estimates of remaining battery power, which are reasonably accurate. A little extra investment but worth the simplicity and ease of keeping everything charged sufficiently.

I like that you can grab and go, this one simplified rack receiver and the two mics, and the setup and syncing is very slick.

[32] We've been using the BLX models for a while, and they had lots of signal breakup issues and the plastic bodies were falling apart.

These are built like a tank, go much farther with no issues, and the ability to charge them has been a game changer.

[1760] The Shure SLXD mic system is a great upgrade to the older SLX system. The setup is fast with open frequency scans in less than 10 seconds. It's also nice that this unit scans for both mics at once. The mics have a nice professional feel to them. The all metal housing of the mics is a great feature. Battery life is great at over 7.5 hours. Sound is just as good as a wired mic. Very happy with this series.

[Digital UHF ] My Sure wireless microphone system is top notch. I love it. It worked flawlessly from the time I plugged it up without me having to change the channels. I'm really considering ordering another one just to have when I get those requests for three to four microphone set ups. Thanks B&H

[IR] Absolutely love these mics! They are perfect for small/mid size shows. I’ve used the ULXD mics before and the SLDX are just as great! The microphone is built very well and does NOT feel cheap or light. I plan on ordering more soon!!
