Likewise with Canon and Nikon.You can use the Air 1 Commander cross platform only when you pair the commander with a Nissin flash that has a built in receiver. So, you could pair the Nissin Air 1 Commander from Sony with a Nissin Di700A for Nikon because the receiver is built into the flash. This will be the same case with the upcoming Nissin i60A flash.

A: I shoot Canon and it works perfectly for there flashes on a Sony system. I am positive they would work for Nikon flashes. The older flash I can not say because they are system dependent.
