The black Countryman E6 Earset Mic for Azden Wireless Transmittersis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 3.5mm locking connector for direct connection to Azden older 10BT and 41BT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it work good with instruments (violin)?

A: I’m not sure with instruments, it should. It’s working good with the speaker or preacher and really clean sound.

Q: 2. How does this compare to Azden's WLX-PRO, which is $50 cheaper? This one definitely looks nicer to me, but I don't see any additional features or mention of higher quality.

A: This is a digital system and is superior in every respect.

Q: 3. Can DJI mic work as well

A: The Insta360 Invisible Mic Cold Shoe for ONE X3/X2 & Rode Wireless GO Mic would not be compatible with the DJI Mic Receiver as the DJI Mic Receiver is wider than the Rode Wireless Go Receiver.

Q: 4. Does this have a 3.5 mm output? What would be the best adapter to go from that to XLR Male?

A: Mic Output: 1/8 (3.5 mm) dual-mono/stereoHeadphone Output: 1/8 (3.5 mm) stereo Adapter: Kopul XLR Male to Mini Female Adapter B&H # KOAXMMF

Q: 5. Has anyone tried this? Will this work with the Osmo Pocket into the usb-c port? With a trrs to usb-c adaptor.

A: This will not work. The Osmo is not a transmitter or receiver. Once you plug it into the Osmo the signal flow will stop.

Q: 6. Can I run two of these as in an an interview with two people wearing Arden Pro XDs?

A: Hi Paul, my name is Dave and I work for Azden. You cannot run two transmitters into one receiver, however, it is possible to use multiple PRO-XD systems simultaneously in the same area. Using two systems at the same time should be no problem. We have done successful tests with 4 systems simultaneously; running more than that is also possible. The main limiting factor is the surrounding WiFi environment. The more crowded it is, the more difficult it will be to reliably run multiple systems. This is not unique to the PRO-XD but a limitation that applies to all digital wireless systems.Another possibility with the PRO-XD is that you can use multiple receivers with one transmitter. This could be useful in situations where youre running multiple cameras; you could hook a PRO-XD receiver up to each camera and capture identical audio from the single transmitter.

Q: 7. I plan to use this skiing. Will it transmit consistently if I place the receiver and iPhone 6+ in an internal ski jacket pocket? If it looses the link will it sync back automatically?

A: I will loose the link but it will sync back automatically.

Q: 8. If I were to buy 16 of these for TV production, would each one be on it's own channel?

A: Hello Peter P. Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the PRO-XD 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Lavalier System. Since this system operates in the 2.4GHz (WiFi) spectrum, it's not ideal to operate that many systems at one time. The WiFi spectrum only has 14 available channels, 11 of them available in the USA. Those 11 channels also have some frequency overlap. For TV production, you're better off using a UHF system like our 310 Series wireless, which has 188 selectable frequencies. The 310LT is a perfect solution and is also a very affordable solution. Going with UHF will allow for a higher number of kits to be used in proximity without worrying about open channels/frequencies.

Q: 9. I have a Canon Vixia camcorder. How do I mount the receiver to it?

A: It should slide right onto the top of the camera. There is a spot where a Flash would be mounted. The receiver can be mounted there as well.

Q: 10. Can this be used with one transmitter and 2 receivers?

A: I'm sorry, but the Azden Pro XR wireless mic system will only pair a single transmitter to a single receiver.
