The DJC-B1 from Pioneer is a semi-hard case designed to contain and protect DDJ-400 and DDJ-SB3 controllers for DJs and producers on tour and moving between gigs. It will safely house one device at a time. The Pioneer DJ logo is proudly adorned across the lid of the case.

The durable EVA Durashock molded body provides protection against scratches, dents, and dings. The dual convoluted foam-lined interior keeps your controller safe from knocks and bumps while on the go. Transporting the case is made easier with the included carrying handle and shoulder strap.

Q: 3. Just bought this turntable. My question is: What is the sub weight for? I haven't attached it to the counterweight yet. Please explain in detail as the manual didn't do a great job. Thanks.

A: After installing the cartridge and headshell on the tonearm it will need to be balanced with the counterweight. With the tonearm off the rest about an inch or 2 over the platter you will need to adjust the counterweight until the arm is floating parallel with the platter. For most cartridges this should only take a few turns forward on the weight. For heavier cartridges, you will find that the counterweight is unable to balance your tonearm. You can offset the weight of a heavy cartridge by installing the sub-weight on the rear of the tonearm, and follow the balancing procedure again.

[Black] Has all the basics: EQ, pitch control, jog wheels and some FX to jump right in. The software this controls will beat sync for you or have at it with the pitch control and wheels. If you want more pads, EQ or trigger buttons go for the higher model but for the majority of people this is enough. Given the access to Spotify or Beatport libraries with subscriptions depending on which software you are using this is about as turnkey and low hassle as you can get. Only gripe is its compact (small) and plastic not metal so handle with care or better yet case it. 5
