The Proaim Multi-Angle Levelling Wedge Platehas a wider and longer design than the standard Proaim Multi-Angle Levelling Wedge Plateversion to provide better support for larger camera setups up to 44 lb.

Used with a tripod, slider, geared head, or other support, the wedge plate allows you to achieve a greater tilt angle for purposes such as pointing the camera straight down off the edge of a building or directly upwards from low heights. It also lets you securely lock the tilt angle in place, and you won't have to support the position by hand and risk accidentally creating unwanted movement.

The wedge plate allows smooth tilt adjustment from 0 to 90° and is locked by a ratchet locking mechanism. A bubble level is integrated to help find accurate balance. Multiple threaded and non-threaded mounting points are also provided on the top and bottom of the plate.

A: This plate is meant for specific Sachtler Tripod Heads, the DV-8, DV-8/100 and Video 14/75. However the Bromwell Quick Release plate with screw for Bromwell & Sachtler quick release adapters is 1.2 x 1.7 inches, the same dimensions as your older head, so it should work for you.

Q: 5. Can a Gimbal head be mounted on it? The screw looks a little short for a heavy Gimbal.

[2.26 lb] I ordered this plate as a replacement for my Sachtler FSB 6 Tripod. It fits perfectly and is well-built. The two screws provide stability. B&H shipped the plate quickly and I got it right in time for my next shoot. 5

[44 lb / 20 kg] I had to order this to replace a lost plate and when it came I discovered that the Sachtler screws are actually the only ones that work with my DSLR for a perfect fit. Might be worth ordering an extra screw or two, just in case... Otherwise, you might end up having to use a washer or two with an offbrand screw to get a tight fit on the bottom of your rig. 5

[2.26 lb] I have owned every VCT plate out there Shape, Zacuto, movcam, chrosziel and i've sold them all. I found them to be incredibly heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something that maintained the low height of my FS7 body when its on my shoulder. Most VCT plates sit so high on the shoulder throwing off the centre of gravity, wooden camera managed to keep the shoulder pad tight to plate eliminating this problem. It only weighs 1.3 LBS which is important when travelling with a kit. They've also ingeniously incorporated their dovetail system into the plate for easy removal of the camera. I cannot recommend this plate enough to anyone trying to keep the weight and profile down of their camera. After a few weeks of shoulder intensive shooting I can confidently say this is the best product out there. 5

[44 lb / 20 kg] years ago i had 3 different FMR products (Preamp, Leveller, Compressor) which i used for recording my podcasts. after a while things changed, i got rid of all three items and moved on. but now because i am doing mostly live webcasts i am using FMR Compressor and Levellrr together in series (first Leveller then Compressor (as limiter) and my final product is solid, thick, pronounced and BIG 5
