With their powerful magnification and large objectives, Nikon Aculon A211 10x50 Binocularsare an ideal device for hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts who require an optic that delivers the capability of making detailed observations of distant subjects from dawn to dusk.

The enhanced light-gathering ability offered by the 50mm objectives helps to ensure bright and clear views, even in challenging situations like at dawn or dusk, or when peering into dense underbrush. Anti-reflection multi-coated aspherical lenses, made with environmentally friendly Eco-Glass elements, complement the BAK4 Porro prism light path to deliver high-contrast images with enhanced depth of field without edge distortion, and accurate color fidelity. Despite their 10x magnification, this version of the A211 has a wide 60° angle of view that helps to offset the appearance of visible hand shake that is common with high-power optics such as this, while presenting the user with spacious views.

The Aculon's sculpted rubber-armored housing is designed to fit naturally into the observer's hand and provide a secure non-slip handling and is offered here in a subdued black color. Twist-up rubber eyecups and a comfortable eye relief enable easy viewing without eye fatigue, especially during long observation sessions. For those who might experience arm fatigue or visible hand shake from holding a high-power/large objective optic such as this, the binoculars can be tripod mounted using an optional tripod adapter. The combination of image quality and user-friendly design makes the 10x50 Aculon A211 a natural option for long-range glassing in even the most challenging light conditions.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are they waterproof?

A: The Nikon 12x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars (Black) BH #NI12X50A211 • MFR #8249 are not nitrogen purged hence they are not fog or waterproof.

Q: 2. what number is far way magnification? High number?

A: The first number. For this binocular 10x is the magnification from as close as it will focus, to the furthest out that can be seen through the binocular. Everything is magnified by a factor of 10.

Q: 3. How are these binoculars for stargazing?

A: Hi Peter,I bought these for that exact purpose and they are great! They're obviously not as mind-blowing as a telescope, but for binoculars they did what I was expecting them to do. You need to get a tripod adapter and use a sturdy tripod to minimize vibrations. Last week I used them to view the supermoon and it was awesome. I also use them for wildlife watching and I've been very happy...very sharp images and powerful zoom.Hope that helps,John

Q: 4. how far can one see with them?

A: Hi Marjorie. These binoculars will magnify objects you are observing 7 times. In other words, the object will appear 7 times closer or larger. The optics used are very good and the image they produce is very clear. So if you combine magnification with a clear image, you will be able to make out detail you could not see with your eyes alone. So the question is not how far you can see but rather how much better you can see an object than with your eyes alone. For instance, with your eyes, you may see a bird in a tree 100 yds. away. With these binoculars, you will be able to tell the species of the bird. Hope this helps

Q: 7. water resistant?

A: The Nikon 10x50 Aculon A211 Binoculars BH #NI10X50A211 • MFR #8248 are not water resistant, waterproof or fogproof.

Q: 8. Is it made in Japan or China?

A: Country Of Origin: CHINA

Q: 9. Hello just received my 7x35 binoculars. They are much larger than I thought I read on your site, "compact for a regular size binocular. My question is about the shadows being a brilliant blue. looking at a bird across in daylight all of the shadows cast were blue. Watching a bird fly above, the black wings were blue. Annoying as I want the true colors knowing it is a black bird. Why? is this a defect?

A: Its called Chromatic Aberration or Chromatic Distortion. Its the failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same point. To a certain point all lenses have this issue. Telescopes, binoculars and even camera lenses. Manufactures try to compensate for this with the uses of special coatings on the elements. Sorry but you will probably see less noticeable chromatic aberration with some higher end binoculars. Also Chromatic Aberration is most noticeable around dark objects or objects in the shade.

Q: 10. Is the Nikon 10x42 Aculon A211 Binocular "Tripod Mountable"?

A: Sure they are. Use this: Nikon Monarch Binocular Tripod Adaptor B&H # NIMATA - https://bhpho.to/2YbBj6F

[2.8 lb] These binoculars are an exceptional value. The optics yield images that are bright, high contrast and fairly sharp. However, there is considerable field curvature that some may find objectionable. There is also quite a bit of odor coming off of the plastic eye cups that will probably dissipate if left in the open air for several months.

[11.8 mm] When considering my purchase B&H came up as a seller. And they had the best price. So to me it was a no Brainer. To buy from a company that was known for outstanding customer service and value. The product explanation was clear and easily understood. Plus if that was not enough you can call for help. I've been buying products from them for a long time and am never disappointed.
