Display two video/audio sources onto one display while streaming simultaneously in lectures and conference rooms with the Vaddio AV Bridge 2x1 Lecture Capture Devicefrom Vaddio. With this multi-camera AV capture and distribution device, you can bridge any high-definition HDMI and audio source into conferencing applications such as Skype for Business, Zoom, and WebEx through the standard USB 3.0 interface, while locally viewing a Picture-in-Picture dual display.

The bridge is enabled with PoE+ (Power-over-Ethernet) for network, power, control, and IP streaming over a single Ethernet cable, a USB 3.0 port for uncompressed video output with PCM audio, an RS-232 port for control functions via Vaddio trigger or other control devices using the Vaddio API, and an HDMI input to receive video from the connected camera or device. Other features include picture-in-picture control with multiple screen layouts, position presets, and graphic overlay support.

There are also audio Mic/Line 1 and Mic/Line 2 for microphone or other audio inputs and audio Line 1 and Line 2 for audio output, from conferencing applications or as configured in the audio matrix. The 4x4 Dante audio matrix supports a cross-point audio matrix up to 12x12. A 1 RU half-rack mounting kit is included to install the unit into a full rack space.

A: This encoder has both an SDI and HDMI output.

A: The Vanco HDMI to USB 2.0 Video Capture Device can support HDMI signals up to 1080p in 60 frames per second and as such should support the Olympus E-P5 through its HDMI connection.

A: The Comprehensive 4K HDMI to USB 3.0 Capture Device (B&H# COCSD4KCD150) will record a signal into its HDMI port up to 4K/60p. That's a common output from many cable boxes, cameras, game systems, computers, and so on.

Q: 5. Will the driver support 2 or more devices on a single host?

A: You will only be able to use one of these units at a time with a single device hooked up to it. Connecting multiple devices at a time will usually require a capture device with multiple inputs such as a Magewell HDMI Capture Card with 4 inputs or the AJA IO 4k which has SDI inputs.

A: This comes with the easy to use Stream Catcher Software which allows you to record H.264 files and stream to RTMP services. You can also use it with DirectShow compatible programs software such as Open Broadcaster Software.

A: No it will not. this product requires a computer. it is not compatible with tablets or smartphones.

[PoE+] I installed this cam system in a room about a month now that my Golf & Country Club client uses for their own conference meetings and rents out to others. They absolutely love their new ConferenceShot AV cam system with two ceiling mics. Works beautifully on the Zoom platform with virtually zero lag in motion & audio. Client mentioned that they love being able to use the remote to control the PTZ feature. 5

[16 x 9.8 x 3.4"] I first purchased the StarTech Video Capture Adapter Cable, which did work but it took me several days to get digitized video that was acceptable. It also took a long time to end up with MP4 files. I had to do another conversion with an H.264 encoder which more than doubled the production time. After a chat session with StarTech I decided that the way to go was to purchase their hardware solution. It did cost about 4 times as much, but all of the heavy lifting is done in the hardware and not in software as was the case with the adapter cable product. The hardware figures out the best capture configuration for the video source, then delivers the digitized video to my computer's USB 3.0 port. The Stream Catcher software provided has a few configuration settings, but it's nothing like the complexity of the adapter cable product. And, one of the output formats available is MP4 which was not the case with the other product. The video quality seems very good. The device has a lot of additional capabilities that I don't need, but may be just what others need. Spend a few more dollars and get a really good solution to support your video capture needs. 5

But the latest software release is excellent, and a breeze to install (I uninstalled all old stuff first). As always, high quality recordings, but what's still missing is 'Pause recording", OBS can pause. Apart from that, best software ever. 5

[5.495 lb] I've had this unit for a few months now and I am very happy with the unit overall. The device captures various screen sizes and is perfect for capturing VGA and DVI sources from older computers that do not support the installation of a modern screen recording software. Perfect for creating video tutorials using older computer hardware. There was one issue many users have encountered when using the StreamCatcher software, and that being unable to move the GUI window from one monitor to another when using multiple monitors on a PC. This is actually possible to do, however it requires you to double click on the capture window to cycle through (x3) different GUI window sizes; Full Screen, Normal and Small. You can only move the StreamCatcher GUI window across to other Monitors when the GUI is in the SMALL window size. So you simply have to double click on the GUI capture window when you see your video feed, double click a couple of times...and you can toggle to the proper screen size and then move it across to your other shared PC monitors. :) Hope this information helps future users out there. [PoE+] I have purchased three of these over the last couple years, and I use them all. I connect these to be able to even capture BIOS screens for instruction manuals. I have them connected to computers through DVI and I also use one connected Display Port. I also have other brands, I have purchased to use for what I need it for. But the best thing about the USB3HDCAP in the past has been it's bundled Stream Catcher software. I was sorely disappointed when the Stream Catcher software stopped working because of Adobe discontinuing support for their product. I cannot point to hard a finger at Startech for that. However it was known for some time the software was being moth balled. Would have been nice to have a replacement software that works as easy and well, before that happened. As recommended I tried OBS, I do not find it friendly or easy to use like the purpose built Streamcatcher. I found my own solution for at least two of the devices, I have a laptop I disabled all the network connectivity on and turned back the date 1 year. This laptop pretty much does nothing but capture screen shots and screen video. So I can live with not allowing it to connect to a network to get updates. I am looking forward to a good purpose built software again. I have also recommended this device to others. Looking forward to this product being GREAT again. 5

StreamCatcher SW is quite simple and stable. Sometimes it is detect CopyRight protection via S-Video cable (is it possible?) and stop recording, but it was one time only. This solution works great! One point for SW update: it is not possible to move StreamCapture SW window from one monitor to another when using multiple monitors with PC. Why? :) 5
