The 54.0 x 96.0" Da-Lite Tensioned Advantage Deluxe Motorized Screenfrom Da-Lite Tensioned Advantage Deluxe Motorized Screenis a ceiling recessed screen with an HD Progressive 1.1 Perf finish, 1.1 Gain rating, 85° viewing angle (L/R) and Greenguard certification for use indoors. The fire retardant, mildew-resistant finish delivers true color and uniform edge-to-edge image diffusion. The white finish has black backing material for opacity and is optimized for high resolution projectors. Tensioning on each side of the seamless fabric assures a flat, undistorted surface that eliminates any chance of a skewed image.

One of the major advantages of this screen is that the fabric roller can either be factory installed or at your chosen location after the ceiling recessed, UL Plenum rated extruded aluminum white housing has been roughed in. The enables you to finish the initial installation but choose your screen finish at a later date.

The screen includes two motors; one for the ceiling door and one for the fabric. The interior roller features a quick reversal motor, oiled for life, with automatic thermal overload cutout, integral gears, capacitor, and an electric brake to prevent coasting when the screen is stopped at a chosen length. The built-in Low Voltage Control controls up/down and stop functions using the included 12VDC three-position switch that can be wall mounted where convenient. It can also be operated from an optional radio frequency, infrared or auxiliary transmitter.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the height of this bag including the handle on top? Airlines like Air France are very strict about that.

A: The height of the Think Tank Photo Airport Advantage Roller Sized Carry-On bag is 19.49" or 49.5 cm including the retractable handle on top.

Q: 2. Think Tank states that Airport Advantage fits under seat of an airplane - has anyone tried it and verified it? I'm specifically interested in aircraft like B737 or A320 and larger, as those are the planes I am most likely to fly with this bag. I'd like the assurance of having the option of stowing under the seat in the event overhead bins are full.

A: the bag is excelent but I dont think it will fit under the seat.

Q: 3. Wheel diameter?

A: The diameter of the wheels is 3".

Q: 4. What length does the trolley handle extend? I am a tall person (6'6") and don't want to be hindered by too short a handle.

A: The handle extends to 20''above Think Tank Photo Airport Advantage Roller Sized Carry-On. The total height of the carry-on with the handle expanded is 40''.

Q: 5. Would my JVC GY-HM600 fit inside this bag?

A: This case will be a very tight fit with a camcorder like the GY-HM600, we do not recommend it. Instead I suggest Think Tank's Photo Video Transport 20 Carry-On Case (Gray), B&H # THVT20. This is designed with larger bodies and camcorders in mind. https://bhpho.to/2JKOk3o

Q: 6. will I be able to fit Canon 1DX MK ii; 7D MKii; 200-400 f4; 70-200 f2.8; Tamron 24-70f 2.8?

A: It's a good fit for that much gear.

Q: 7. Dear BH Photo Video, I am wondering if a Canon 400mm f2.8 L IS USM lens and a 1D X body would fit in this case. Thanks

A: Yes, the Think Tank Photo Airport Advantage Roller Sized Carry-On (Black) can handle up to a 200-400mm lens with no issues, and it can accommodate a 400mm fixed lens and body combo.

Q: 8. Is there an available rain cover?

A: it comes with a seam sealed rain cover.

Q: 9. Will the Nikon Z 400 2.8 fit in this bag ?

A: The Think Tank Photo Airport Advantage Roller Sized Carry-On has an interior dimensions of 17.99 x 12.01 x 6.42" and the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S Lens has dimensions 6.1 x 15" so the lens will fit in the bag perfectly.

Q: 10. Which size of this Case Logic Advantage case would be the best fit for a 14" MacBook Pro? Would the 15.6" size be too big?

A: The Case Logic Advantage 15.6" Attaché (Dark Blue) would be a bit large for a 14" laptop. The 14" size would be more appropriate.

[White] This Screen was easy to install. It took 3 people and 2 ladders to get the job done. The remote is really not needed but i opted to install it as well. The motor runs really smooth. The screen is nice and wide. A really good buy.

[110" (279.4 cm)] I have used this Da-Lite screen for the past 3+ years. This is actually my second purchase. Compared to some brands and products, the price is reasonable. The design is solid, great for portable use and easy to setup. However, it weights close to 70 pounds. A great product nonetheless.

[110" (279.4 cm)] This screen was installed in a small conference room with an NEC projector. The screen can be wall or ceiling mounted, and this flexibility came in handy when we had to switch to a ceiling mount at the last moment. The screen presents very well, and is unobtrusive when retracted. The tensioning system works nicely, and we didn't have to change any of the factory settings for the drop. I would have liked to see some additional mounting holes for attaching the screen to studs in the wall, so the installer has more options for wall mounting.

[158 lb] We installed this in a rehabbed church space that's now a contemporary art gallery flush mounted it to an exposed beam and it looks and works great. That said, it's only been about a week, so maybe I'll report back later if I have any complaints! I was surprised that, for its length, there are only 2 mounting holes on either end, so I fear that it may sag over time. But again, too soon to tell. Where it does mount in those 2 places, it's on a solid plastic end cap/brace, so it seems like it will hold up well. It weighs about 85 pounds, so we had 3 people to install. We had to go about 17 feet up to the beam, we leveled, marked and pre-drilled & drove lag bolts into the beam and then used two extension ladders on either side to climb and carefully slide the projector up on the ladder's rails. Our 3rd person was on a 10ft ladder in the middle and was there as a spotter for extra support. It was then quite easy to hook it on to the lag bolts once we slid it to the top. All in all, it's an easy install, we opened the box and had the job done in less than 4 hours. Just be sure you have the wiring supplies and the proper mounting hardware and you'll have no problem!

[110" (279.4 cm)] The screen was simple to mount (we used lag bolts and attached the screen to a wall.) The screen did not come with instructions on how to install the switch for a 120v motor...complicated the electrical install was inconsistent wire colors on the switch and the screen. After consulting an electrician and enduring his derision for working with this product - he correctly intuited the correct wiring configuration. A big thanks to the customer service at B&H. We ordered the screen 2 weeks from a graduation. The shipper lost the screen for nearly a week, without informing us. I contacted the shipper, who responded with a long distance shoulder shrug - explaining they would look for it again. Unable to motivate the shipper, I called B&H - they got involved, and the screen was in my driveway 36 hours later. Thanks B&H.
