The unit features an Arca-Swiss style camera plate compatible with most Arca-Swiss style ballheads, 3-way heads, and gimbal heads, and the included adapter allows you to mount a smartphone to the plate for use with a tripod head for both photo and video applications. The plate is constructed out of high-quality CNC machined aluminum, and stainless steel rods securely mount a smartphone to the camera plate. [1x 1/4"-20 Male] I needed to get the right camera plate for my Unqiball ball head. After many trials and error the B&H staff helped me determine I was ordering the wrong item and I needed this Arca-Swiss camera plate to go on my tripod. I utilized B&H's video chat and the staff was AWESOME to ensure I was ordering the right plate!! 5

[Aluminum, Steel] This Arca-Swiss plate now comes with a wrench to tighten its hold to my Velbon PHD-66Q Revolver Head which I need to attach to the Leofoto 64mm Indexing Rotaror that I can clearly hear the locking of the index mechanism. Once I have tighten the Arca-Swiss plate to the round feet of the Velbon PHD-66Q Revolver head, the Velbon device holding my camera stays steadily attached to the Leofoto Indexing rotator and ready for me to do panoramic photography. 5

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This is a superbly machined adapter that goes from a slightly long Arca-Swiss plate to a smartphone stand very easily. I tested it with a Pixel 3a and an iPhone 8 and both fit well. The cold shoe slot on the top is open on both ends, so be sure to tighten the mic or light down carefully if you use it. The mic can't extend too far in front of the phone or it will show up in the frame (Video Mic Pro with Rycote base is a bit too big). 5
