A: The camera doesn't recognize that the adapter is mounted as there are no electronic contacts. First, enable the "shoot without lens’ option in the menu under ‘BUTTON/DIAL SETTING’ sub-menu in the setup menu.

A: There isn't vignetting or image quality issues. Main issues are in autofocus that it is usually not as fast and not as reliable. For the best autofocus features it is recommended to get a native Panasonic lens.

A: yes, it works on both F and G mount.

Does what it's intended to do, I've purchased 2 and haven't noticed any quality concerns. Cheap enough that you can buy one for each of your Minolta lenses if you wanted, which is what I did. I great way to expand your lens arsenal on a budget. 5

Excellent fit and operability. Superior design allows more room on the front of the lens for other filters like diffusion and low contrast without vignetting. 5

I have several of these adapters and they work great for fitting vintage all-manual Minolta Rokkor MD and MC lenses to my Sony a7riii. Snug fit, but not too tight, and no light leakage (at small aperture or with ND filters) as with inexpensive Vello adapters which I have now either returned or thrown away. (I hope I am allowed to say that here.) 5

Coming in under $100 I really wasn't sure if this was going to be the right fit for me or not. There are other variable ND filters that attach to the front of the lens that cost more than this ND/adapter so I figured there would be some quality issues. But I've been using this adapter a ton and have really been enjoying it! I haven't noticed any issues with image or build quality and it's been painless to use. I also enjoy that the ND glass protects my sensor whenever I change lenses so I don't have to be as concerned about particles getting into my camera. Finally, I wasn't sure that 8 stops of ND was going to be enough while shooting in peak daylight at f1.4, ISO640, and 1/125 shutter on my A7sIII but boy was I wrong! I stopped down the ND to about half and it was plenty. 5

I just received this adapter. Fit is excellent on camera and lens. Mounted my 75-300mm AF Nikkor and took some fun shots while waiting to get the kit outdoors. ND filter is very smooth. Definitely recommend this adapter. 5
