A: No, it will not. As stated under the Overview, electronic communication between an attached camera and lens is not supported by this adapter. When removed from a compatible Canon camera, the aperture diaphragm on a Canon EF or EF-S mount lens is designed to open to its widest setting. A Canon EF or EF-S mount lens may be effectively used with its aperture diaphragm fully open along with the Vizelex Pro ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter. Otherwise, an aperture value on a Canon EF or EF-S mount lens may be set by first placing the lens on a Canon EOS camera and then pressing the camera's depth of field preview button while removing the lens prior to placing it on the adapter. But the adapter does not directly offer aperture adjustment control.

Q: 2. Can the aperture be manually set if you lens has an aperture ring?

A: If you are using a lens that has an aperture ring on it, you will be able to control that aperture. However lenses that do not you will only be able to compensate for the exposure by using the built-in Variable ND Filter.

[0.67 lb] I just received this adapter. Fit is excellent on camera and lens. Mounted my 75-300mm AF Nikkor and took some fun shots while waiting to get the kit outdoors. ND filter is very smooth. Definitely recommend this adapter. 5

[0.67 lb] For a person who hates the inconvenience and expenses of having to have all sorts of ND filters in different sizes this product is a Godsend. The filter is built into the adapter, and placed at the back, between the back lens element and the sensor. It works great! Besides providing the ability the throttle ND gives you to shoot at the aperture of your choice in bright sun light, the filter provides the added benefit of protecting the sensor when you change lenses. So, no more worries about buying all those ND filters in different lens sizes. The throttle ND adapter works for all your lenses of that mount type. Highly recommended. 5

[0.67 lb] This is my second such adapter. I use them to mount a Canon 28mm and 300 mm lenses. These are older, manual focus lenses. The adsspter is well-machines, having a good fit an solid feel. 5

[0.67 lb] Just wanted to say thanks to b&h group for helping me with this first. I got a fujiflim xt3 and the adapter fit well and well constructed. At the beginning couldn't take pictures but it was a setting in the camera. To new buyer of the product remember all focusing are manual since is a not electronic adapter but for was is worth is great Thanks again b&h 5

[0.67 lb] Coming in under $100 I really wasn't sure if this was going to be the right fit for me or not. There are other variable ND filters that attach to the front of the lens that cost more than this ND/adapter so I figured there would be some quality issues. But I've been using this adapter a ton and have really been enjoying it! I haven't noticed any issues with image or build quality and it's been painless to use. I also enjoy that the ND glass protects my sensor whenever I change lenses so I don't have to be as concerned about particles getting into my camera. Finally, I wasn't sure that 8 stops of ND was going to be enough while shooting in peak daylight at f1.4, ISO640, and 1/125 shutter on my A7sIII but boy was I wrong! I stopped down the ND to about half and it was plenty. 5

[0.67 lb] Had an older Hasselblad lenses I was not using. Decided to put it back in service with my Nikon D7100. Initial testing is proving very good. Very glad I decided to go the route of an adapter. The Hasselblad lens is excellent glass. The Vizelex ND Throttle is constructed very well, fits the camera and lens very well. ND filter will come in very handy. Would buy again. 5
