The Ashly mXa-1502 is an advanced zone-mixer with DSP and an integrated power amp well suited for multi-zone music distribution, paging, sound-masking, and automatic mixing for a wide-range of environments. The unit can process 12 audio inputs into four different areas. The mXa-1502 is equipped with two reliable 150W amplifiers capable of driving 2, 4, and 8 ohms as well as 25, 70, and 100V loads.

The free AquaControl DSP software provides total control over four separate zones with a rich selection of digital signal processing, including routing, automixing, ducking, amplifier monitoring, event scheduling/triggering, and more. The software is easy to setup and configure, so you won't have to spend weeks combing through manuals or watching tutorials to get up and running. You can navigate using virtually any browser-enabled device. The unit can also be reconfigured and troubleshot remotely, saving you and your clients valuable time.

Q: 1. does this model supply phantom power required by some mikes?

A: The TOA A-912MK2 is a modular unit that requires the purchase of individual input modules for mic connectivity. The M-01F features a female XLR mic input that does supply up to 22VDC phantom power.

Q: 2. Why Is there no 70 volt output on my p912mk2?

A: The TOA P-912MKII features 4 and 8 ohm outputs as well as a 25V and 70v output on screw terminals. Please refer to page 6 of the manual for the location of this connection. http://bit.ly/1M5Yfvh

Q: 3. Does the Ashly ne8250PE amp come with all the Euroblock connectors or do they have to be purchased seperately?

A: The Euroblock inputs are embedded into the rear chassis of the component. No Euroblock connectors ae included as separate DIY items for crimping/soldering onto your own wiring.

Q: 4. Harmonic distortion is specified at 0.5%. How much greater or Is this a typo?

A: That is a TYPO. It should read 0.5% (Info from the Crown XLS 1002 Manual).

Q: 5. why do the speakers have a background buzz?

A: It could be a number of things causing buzzing in your speakers. You will want to make sure that you are using speaker cable first. Then make sure that your power source is properly grounded. And make sure that you are using the correct terminal for your speakers (4 ohm, 8ohm, 70v, 25v).

Q: 6. Are the 1/4 inputs balanced or unbalanced?

A: You may want to down load the data sheet or manual for the 1502. I can't say for sure but I think they are balanced.

Q: 7. How do I connect 2 speakers up to the amp

A: This Amp is a 70V output amp, that enable you to connect multiple speakers in parallel. you will need to follow the polarity on the Amp and the speakers, the speakers also have to be 70V speakers.

Q: 8. Is this amp (TOA A-2240) rack mountable? If so, what is the product number for brackets?

A: There is not a rack kit available, but you could use a rack shelf.

Q: 9. Will the input B on the back accepts quarter inch input? I see a XLR and a quarter inch jack there.

A: Channel B has XLR connectors. The 1/4 inch connectors are for channel A and the link outputs.

[Rackmount] My 5th Mackie mixer. I keep scaling down in size from larger to smaller models. This is my second VLZ 1202. The first one started to develop very scratchy gain pots after three years of weekly use and life in a road case. Finally died after being dropped. This is the smallest model that still has enough outputs to be flexible in a live situation. Doesn’t sound as good as the Allen & Heath or Yamaha equivalents but more functionality: PFL, balance, mute, 2 aux sends, RCA in and out, XLR & 1/4” master outs, sub mix, independent return volume. 5

[1 RU] I purchased this mixer for my live electronic music rig. I needed a mixer with two aux sends and a small footprint. My live electronic rig has to fit entirely on a 2 X 4 table and I was having a hard time finding something with all the channels and features I needed that would fit. This mixer is classic Mackie. Clean, lots of headroom and solidly built. Signal path and routing options are unheard of in a package this small. Its very flexible and doesnt have anything I dont need (USB interface, effects). I did a lot of research before buying this mixer and it definitely checks all the boxes. 5

[Rackmount] This machine is great! This mixer is a joy to work with, and is easy to use. I have used a mackie vlz3 before. Which to me had top notch audio output. The vlz4 maintains that quality. If not improves upon it. This thing feels like it is built to last. It is a very sturdy machine. All the materials used look and feel high quality. I love the all black finish, and overall color scheme of the knobs. This mixer will not let you down. 5
