The tan Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic for Micron Wireless Transmittersis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a LEMO 6-pin connector for direct connection to Micron TX 700-Series wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. Anybody have luck using this with the Canon 70D? For some reason mine isn’t working, but the adapter works fine for my P4K.

A: From what I can gather It works for Select Canon 5D-Series Cameras, while it does work for the BMPCC4K, the same issue happens on the 6K.

Q: 2. is it compatible with BM micro cinema camera?

A: Yes, You can utilize the the Canon LP-E6 Power Kit for your setup.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Promediagear C60 Arca-Swiss type clamp?

A: I have several bi-directional plates that I use on camera bodies (not on telephoto lenses). I also have Arca-Swiss clamps made by several different manufacturers. All of the clamps work with the bi-directional plate in either orientation.

Q: 4. Hi I would like to power the Black Magic Pocket 4k camera via the Smallhd focus, will the dummy battery LP-36 work? I use a sony a6300 that is powered by my smallhd focus and would like to this use this same method to power both camera and monitor. Thanks!

A: The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K uses the Canon LP-E6 for its primary battery so it is compatible with the SmallHD Focus Canon Kit and LP-E6 dummy battery adapter.

Q: 5. Can you add another wireless microphone?

A: Yes, you can purchase a separate wireless microphone system to connect to the 1/4" mic input on the Pyle Pro PWMKRDJ84BT 500W Portable PA Speaker. Since the PWMKRDJ84BT has two inputs, you can add two wireless mic systems to use together with the included wireless microphone.

Q: 6. Will this power the BMPCC4K?

A: This device is specifically for powering the Redrock Micro microRemote System with a Canon LP-E6 style battery. It will have the proper draw for that system only and may not work with others.

Q: 10. Would this mic work with a focustite scarlett, connected to a macbook pro?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser MKE 200 Microphone can be used with a Focusrite Scarlett. Since the MKE 200 requires plug-in power to operate, an adapter is needed to convert the mic's 3.5mm plug to XLR and also to convert 48V phantom power to plug-in power, which is typically between 3 to 10V. The Rode VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP) is designed for that purpose.
