The tan Countryman E6 Directional Earset Mic for Line 6 Wirelessis a vocal microphone with an adjustable boom that weighs less than one tenth of an ounce and is designed to be used by only one person. Once adjusted, it will continually hold this shape.

The E6 earset can be used on either ear for capturing audio and rejecting unwanted sound, feedback, or surrounding noise from stage monitors or nearby speakers in houses of worship, theater, and outdoor vocal and speech applications.

The low-profile, directional E6 earset virtually disappears against the skin, so performers will forget they're wearing a mic. This version offers the highest gain for general speaking such as presentations or sermons. Additionally, the earset comes with two pattern-changeable protective caps for maximum isolation and gain before feedback. This directional E6 earset's cable terminates to a 1/4" connector for direct connection to Line 6 TBP06 wireless bodypack transmitters.

The Countryman earsets are very small, lightweight, and the least visible headworn microphones.

The classic E6 is a good choice when one person will wear the microphone. Because the boom is stiffer, it can be adjusted to fit, then stored away and quickly reworn.

The E6's stainless steel boom is tough and can be bent and re-bent to fit different performers. It is highly resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. The earset should always have a protective cap in place to keep sweat, makeup, and other foreign material out of the microphone.

The E6 earset's flexible boom is easily shaped right on the performer's face. Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. The directional earset protective caps adjust the pattern from cardioid to hypercardioid.

Easy adjustment keeps the mic in a comfortable position for rejecting unwanted sounds. The directional E6 earset provides more isolation and is suitable for situations where there are loud monitors, extreme feedback, or environmental noise.

The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual earset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate most wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hi! Does it work with Sony a6500 camera and Zoom h4n pro?

A: Yes. The Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH6-MON 3.5mm Line to Mic DSLR Audio Cable will work with the Sony A6500 and Zoom H4n Pro.

Q: 2. I just purchased a Sescom Stereo RCA to TRRS 3.5mm Plug Line to Mic Level iPhone/iPod/iPad Summing Cables - 12 Inch (SES-IPSUMRCA12IN) Will it work being connected to a Macbook Pro (2015) headphone jack? And for recording in a DAW?

A: Hi Lest. There is a chance it will work, but it most likely will not, unless the jack "sees" the signal in the same way it does an Apple earbuds set or a headset with mic. Our IPSUM and IPHONE cables were not designed for Macbooks, but we are reviewing and will be testing and updating the line accordingly once tests are complete and we can fully advise whether cables work with Macbooks or not. Thank you!

Q: 3. Does the 5D iii have this?

A: I use one with my 5d iii, and it works just fine. It does not come with the camera.

Q: 4. Does the device have functionality to lock the shutter open for bulb shots, or must a button be manually held down for the duration of the exposure?

A: To use this remote when the camera is set to bulb, you would need to depress the shutter button on the transmitter to open the shutter and repeat this step to close the shutter.

Q: 5. Is this cable ideal for connecting a mirrorless camera such as a GH4 -- with its dedicated mic input -- to a recorder such as the Tascam DR-60dmkII -- with its dedicated camera outputs -- or will any standard 3.5mm stereo mini cable do? I want to achieve the cleanest possible signal between camera and recorder. Any advice or recommendation is appreciated.

A: The Tascam DR-60dmkII features a dedicated camera mic level output. Any standard 3.5mm cable will suffice to get clean audio from the recorder to the camera.

Q: 6. Will this work sending audio from my Zoom U-24 Audio Interface into an android smartphone, iPhone or iPad?

A: Yes, this cable should be compatible for that application Hans.

Q: 7. How do I program them to work with my Cannon 5d mark 2? It has worked before with this camera, I put in new batteries.

A: I would recommend checking that the transmitter and receiver in the RPS Lighting RS-RT04/C3 Wireless RF Remote Release DIP switches are in the same orientation. The camera doesn't require any settings to fire from a remote.

Q: 8. Hi, Can I connect my zoom H4n to my Panasonic Gh4 with my k6/me66 senhiessen mic for recording into GH4? with this cable.

A: Yes, this cable will be compatible for the setup you describe Sunil.

Q: 9. Can I use this cable to connect my H4N Zoom directly into my Panasonic GH4 and have the audio sync with video? Also will the headphone connection monitor the audio of the zoom or the camera? Thanks!

A: That's pretty much what it is designed to do. It takes the headphone level output from the headphone jack of your H4N and splits it into two ends, one mic-level output (male 3.5mm) that you can plug into your camera and one headphone-level output (female 3.5mm) that you can plug in headphones to monitor. BTW, my next suggestion is not what you asked about or how the product was designed, but I prefer to have a separate sound operator who records the sound on my Zoom H4N and transmits the mic level signal over a wireless pack to my camera. In this scenario, my sound operator uses this cable to monitor on headphones from the Zoom H4N while also plugged into a lav mic transmitter.

Q: 10. Is this cable compatible with the 6D? I don't see it listed. Thanks!

A: Hi John. The LN2MIC-ZMH6-MON will work with the 6D as well, you should have no problems. Thanks!
