A: This cable will function at short distances for 12G. Any cable will be backwards compatible for bandwidth. I.e a 12G cable will function at 6G or 3G or standard SDI.

A: Thanks for your question. The short answer is yes! The Connector and cable combination is designed to function at 6G up to 87 meters.

A: unforunately no, 3G SDI cables support up to 1080p at 60fps. You will need a 6G SDI cable.

A: The Laird Digital Cinema 12GSDI-B-B 12G-SDI UHD 4K Single-Channel BNC Cable - 10' (BH #LA12GSDIBB10) features basic shrink strain relief, not full rubber relief boots.
