Q: 1. I bought the MP-360 motorized head. I want to use it with a Panasonic GH4 at the top of a 24' tripod.I understand that the CamRanger does not provide support for the GH4, but once I buy the PT Hub Wireless Receiver, in theory I should be able to use the CamRanger iPhone app to control the motorized head, and a separate app (I already have) to control the GH4. A: Scott, I am not sure about what you want to do? I would think that you could control the MP-360 head with the PT Hub via the iPhone, but you would not have control over the camera. But you can control the MP-360 head with the wired remote. That way you would not need the CamRanger. Sorry that is the best I can do.

A: You just twist the sensor unit 90 degrees

Q: 3. What is the range of this wireless system?

A: This "CamRanger PT Hub Wireless Receiver B&H # CA1010 MFR # 1010" is mislabeled. It is just a hub so the CamRanger Mini can connect to two devices, a camera and the MP-360 Pan/Tilt Head. On the other hand, the range of the CamRanger Mini Wireless Transmitter that the Hub connects to is stated to be 400' Wi-Fi range. This of course is ideal, line of sight distance. If there are obstructions, like trees, buildings, concrete walls, plasterboard walls, the distance is considerably shorter.

Q: 4. Have ordered the Bescor MP 1E motorised pan tilt head. Can it be wireless controlled with the Camranger PT wireless receiver hub?

A: Not you have to have the Camranger and the hub. The Camranger is the electronic wireless piece.

Q: 5. Hi guys, My pad says that I have a fault number 2 which means battery of the sensor is low. I removed it to change the battery, however I can not locate the battery. Is there even one? Any idea to help? Cheers

A: This is a hard wired motion sensor, there is no battery. My suggestion is to contact the Alarm installer. Low battery can be the backup battery on your panel. or an RF alarm sensor.

A: Yes

A: No this unit will not connect to your smartphone.

A: It only works in conjunction with the CamRanger and the CamRanger app on a smartphone or tablet. You would need to purchase the CamRanger and download the app on a compatible device.

Q: 9. Will the CamRanger PT Hub Wireless Receiver and MP-101 Head work with any video camera or does it still require specific DSLR cameras?

A: This device will still only work with CamRanger compatible cameras.

[0.555 lb] This detector replaced my five year old BX-80 device That developed cracked plastic lenses. This new device with four Active sensors vs two in the older offering, it is by far the best boundary sensor for exterior wall applications, in my opinion. This sensor’s sensitivity clearly meets it’s 40 LF specification and then some. Functions in rain, all temps To sunny 95 degree conditions and fog too! I could have purchased a new Lense cover, however decided to upgrade vs wasting monies on old technology. Buy this, you’ll not be disappointed! 5

[0.555 lb] Unit did not work at first. I called B&H technical dept. They could not help, but they referred me to Optex in CA. Tech dept. manager at Optex had me try several procedures, but unit still did not work. He sent me a new annunciator and adaptor that day. The problem was the adaptor. Now that it works, I love it! 5

[10 x 3.5 x 3.1"] We've been using this kit to monitor 2 entry doors to our warehouse. It was simple to setup and has been working trouble free ever since. One sensor is set up about 50 feet from the receiver behind several walls with the other receiver 250-300 feet away with metal columns and merchandise in between. We have had no signal problems and the device works as advertised. 5

[10 x 3.5 x 3.1"] Easy to install. We do not have a door bell at the driveway door that everyone likes to use. The Optex lets us know when someone is starting up a rather long drive, now we know before they get to the door. Really like it. 5

[0.555 lb] The product does what it is intended to do. It works perfectly, notifying us of customers entering or exiting the business. It's use is outside so it holds up to the elements. It's reasonably priced. You won't miss any customers entering your lot or your store if you put one of these to use. 5

[10 x 3.5 x 3.1"] I have had these for probably 15 years, and, in today's world, I purchased more. There are three different sounds/channels. Each channel can monitor 3 sensors. One zone monitors my garage, one zone monitors my boat, and one channel monitors my parking. The parking alarm went off last month and I caught a guy in my F350 trying to steal it. The cops wouldn't come out just for that, so I chased the guy off with a shotgun. He did NOT get the truck. These saved me a ton of money just on that incident. Had not been alerted, I would have lost my truck. The same guy got my neighbor's F350 the week before. Security footage was available for both incidents. I just changed a battery the other day. the old one was installed 6/2018. Like I said, these are great. The only improvement I would like to see would be a Zone 1 or Zone 3 annunciator instead of the chimes. It took me a minute to wake up enough to figure out which zone the chime represented when the guy was in my truck. Had I been down there quicker I probably would have had a bloody perp for the cops to haul away. They probably would have come out for that. 5
