The American DJ Jolt 300 is an innovative 288-LED strobe and eye-candy fixture, well suited for large stages, nightclubs, live events, and touring. The fixture provides zone-chasing to create bright and moving effects and includes several advanced features such as dimming modes, dimming speed, 32 programs, 64 color macros, 3 sections of LED control, LED refresh rate, gamma settings, and DMX channel modes.

The rear panel offers 3-pin and 5-pin DMX connections with twistlock power input and output for daisy-chaining data and power to several fixtures. A USB port is provided for easy firmware updates. The American DJ Jolt 300 includes a scissor yoke, Omega bracket, and locking power cord.

A: Yes, the following unit has a fixed 20 degree angle of beam of light.

Q: 3. Would these work with 1000 watt can lights? They are extremely hot.

A: Well, these definitely crease permanently when clipped to the grill of a 500 watt work light. Maybe they'll hold up better when just in a tray.

Q: 4. How big is this motor?

A: I am totally going from memory because I had to return mine since it did not suit our needs... BUT, it is approximately 4 inches in diameter, and maybe 1 inch thick.

Q: 5. can i connect it to audio source for dj lightning?

A: The American DJ UB 12H Kit 4 x RGBAW+UV LED Linear Fixture does not have an input to connect an audio source. However, the light fixture does have a Sound Active mode that allows you to adjust the fixtures sound sensitivity level so it will automatically be able to respond to sounds/beats/tempos. The American DJ UB 12H Kit 4 x RGBAW+UV LED Linear Fixture only has one (1x) XLR 3-Pin DMX Input and one (1x) XLR 3-Pin DMX Output for connection options.

Q: 6. Hi, it says is for 8 fixtures...does it mean 8 different effects fixtures or 8 fixtures of the same kind?

A: They can be different LED fixtures that are DMX compatible.

Q: 7. As a blinder, 4 of these, how big of a crowd would it cover? 200, 300 people or more?

A: The Blizzard MAX L 3-In-1 Strobe, Blinder, Wash RGB LED Effect Fixture is not large or bright. The light is about 13.7 inches wide and the Photoectics are, 20.4 fc / 220 Lux at 3.3' / 1 m 5.9 fc / 64 Lux at 6.6' / 2 m You would need a lot more to light 200-300 people and really this is not a light to do that. Best is to come into chat and talk about the room you want to use this setup in.

Q: 8. How loud is the cooling fan?

A: The fan on this unit is generally quiet, but the unit is mainly used in conditions where noise is not an issue such as in nightclubs or private events.

Q: 9. Can i mount a iPad on the t bar?

A: With the right clamps it could be possible. The stand is rated for about 66lbs.

Q: 10. Is this peaked at 365nm and then has a sharp cutoff at 400nm, emitting no visible violet light?

A: The lamp is for the American DJ UV Canon fixture.The only information the manufacture lists is that it has a Wavelength of 395-405nm

[LCD / 4-Button] Mount it, plug it in, and turn on the switch -- it just works. A light purple visible light is an indication that UV is being transmitted, tested it with my Transitions eye lenses. Kindly check if the bulb is connected properly as mine was shipped disconnected, presumably for safety purposes. 5

[50,000 Hours] LEDs seem to be replacing everything lately but I think they often fall short at reproducing the same effects of the lights they are replacing. Fluorescent black lights are still the best and this one is great. And ADJ’s support is excellent. 5

[LED Panel] Very strong strobe for a very good price. It shines brightly in small and medium-sized�rooms and has good and simple controls for speed and brightness (although the brightness doesn't�have much of an effect). Better controls for speed and brightness would be a good addition. 5

[Manual] We have a wedding biz…they light our drapery beautifully Lightbulbs are 6 w….I think the next step up is 9 or 12 w bulbs ?. I’d pay the extra for more intensity if we were lighting buildings but these are perfect for most venue event lighting needs 5
