Carry your camera bag and other necessities with the 20L Peak Design Everyday Backpack v2 Charcoal 20Lin charcoal from Peak Design. This versatile bag is designed for photographers, multimedia creators, or anyone seeking a pack that is size adjustable and compressible. Multiple magnetic latches on the top flap allow you to adjust the height of the pack from 18.3 to 22.3". The interior has three dividers so you can stack items in the main compartment. The dividers have foldout surfaces that can be configured to cushion and hold items against the pack's zippered side openings. The side openings are positioned to face you when the bag is rotated from back to front with either side facing upward. The dividers allow you to choose which items are most quickly accessed from the sides.

The pack interior has a zippered sleeve with dedicated pockets for a 12.9" tablet computer, a 15" laptop, chargers, and cables. Store and organize batteries, memory cards, small electronics, or personal items in slip and zippered pockets on the side opening interiors. The exterior of each side opening features a large open pocket for a water bottle, tripod, or umbrella. Each side pocket also has exterior carry straps with gear loops. Long exterior carry straps and additional gear loops along the surface of the pack attach equipment, accessories, or packable clothing against the front panel. These straps can also be used to attach items to the bottom of the pack.

Carry the pack with the wide, built-in top and side handles or wear it with the adjustable shoulder straps. For heavy loads, use the sternum strap to distribute the weight more evenly. The shoulder straps can be magnetically fastened against the rear panel when not in use and an integrated trolley sleeve mounts the pack to the handle of your rolling luggage for seamless travel.

Featuring durable nylon construction, this pack is weather resistant and has a waterproof bottom panel for further protection.

[Universal] I have a closet full of bags and packs because I haven’t been able to find the one that hits the sweet spot until now. I was ready to buy yet another pack and I was looking at Patagonia, Ofsprey, and other well reviewed packs. I literally stumbled into a Peak Design shop and found that thing I was ready to invest in. I like the hardware and the vehicle seatbelt like webbing at all the straps. When adjusting or letting off slack so I can swing the bag to my front to access to side access, it’s smooth and I no longer have the cringy scraping sensation of pulling course webbing through plastic buckles. I love that I can attach and cinch the chest harness strap with one hand. The size (30L) is perfect. You don’t actually have 30L unless you have the top flap at its highest setting (the top flap buckle is awesome ) which actually makes the size and appearance perfect for me. I really want as much volume as possible without it looking too big. I like the numerous loops to add more carry straps or even TSA locks as needed without it looking like a tactical back. The back both looks good in a professional setting and just sporty enough for the out and about. I don’t buy pricey things unless they are quality. I have had trouble finding something worth paying for until now. 5

[Yes] I originally ordered the 20L but after my employer upgraded me to a 15.6 inch laptop, I needed the 30L version which is plenty big to fit the laptop and all the gear (photography and everyday carry) I need. Do note that the best the bag can do is a 15.6-inch laptop and a 13-inch tablet. The laptop compartment is pretty tight and snug so this may not suit your needs if you need to haul around more than one laptop. Otherwise, this bag is definitely recommended! 5

[4.22 lb] I bought the 20L version for travel for both photo and business. Guess I should have bought two? It is perfect for the laptop, tablet, headphones and all the charging cables we need to carry today on trips. The various pockets, the magnet snap-close, the interchangeable dividers all work so well. Great design. 5

[Yes] I'm not usually the person who writes reviews, but when i do, i mean it. I've owned many, i mean many backpacks and was never satisfied, but since I've owned a PD backpack, v1 and now v2, I've never changed since. I love this backpack and it's now my daily go to, for photoshoots, to work or just casual out and about. Just an absolute great backback that serves more than it's supposed to. 5

[Yes] I have been using this as an everyday backpack to office and its been a great fit for me. One thing that could have worked better for me is if had an option to add the sternum strap a little lower. Right now it sits high on the chest. Another major concern is the scuff marks it picks up after everyday use. 5

[4.22 lb] Brought several months ago to replace my travel backpack. I got the 30L. So far so good. The video was great in helping me set it up for the first time. Was just a tiny bit deep so fitting under the seat so upon return moved the dividers at a slight slant a fit fine. Might depend on the airlines and class. love. the adjustable depth for my laptop and not need to bring an extra sleeve for it. Same area ac combated my reader. easy to access as I tend to return with everything packed top the max. Easy cleanable material and love the straps to attach a coat or my rumple( down blanket). love all the pockets. The latch I can do one handed now that I have mastered it and I do have arthritis. love that the straps are kept in place when not in use by magnets, so m much more manageable. I'm sure I will find the best spots for favorite things in the multiple pockets. 5

[Yes] Bought it a couple of years ago with an idea that I might return it if it’s too focused on photography equipment. Never happend. I’ve been happy with the backpack ever since and with its versatility. And, believe me, I used it for everything, from work to light tracking. Sometimes wish it to be lighter, but new products that fit the bill are coming. 5

[Universal] I use the very first version of this amazing backpack for my camera stuff all around the world since I backed it at Kickstarter 8 years ago. Still a very good product. Never had any issues. If it would fall apart someday I'd buy it again. But I guess this product won't get broken someday. 5
