[0.375 lb] I bought the 30L PD travel backpack as my one bag for shorter trips. I love the bag alone but it is made much more comfortable with the addition of this hip belt, especially when it’s fully packed while standing in lines or public transport. 5

[0.375 lb] I bought this or my Everyday Backpack V2 20L. I noticed it did not come with a hip strap like the V1 pack did so I picked this up. It works amazingly. It tucks away behind the back panel and the straps don't hang out when i'm not using them. The straps also don't hang out when I'm using it. It's very well padded and is overall completely worth it! 5

[0.375 lb] I have the Black Hip Belt. I find it very comfortable and it provides me with even more support during the day. It is not overly bulky in any way. I do wish it had a zipper pocket on the opposite side from the capture compatible side. But yeah when you have a V2 backpack with ample space why bother right? Either way its construction and design are wonderful. Plus it comes with a nice carry bag for when you are not using it which (I should've know it would) was very unexpected and a nice touch! 5

[0.375 lb] I have the 20L everyday backpack, and with my camera and some big fast lenses it gets kinda heavy. To the point where the shoulder straps are uncomfortable after wearing for several hours. Enter the waist strap, and my comfort levels have increased significantly. Now just like my backpacking pack, I can distribute the load between hips and shoulders. Much better. And there's plenty of room for adjustment no matter what size you are around the middle. 5

[0.375 lb] This is the perfect accessory for the peak design 30l day pack, especially if you are traveling with a lot of equipment. Easy install and straps tuck away when not in use make this an easy going travel companion. The waist belt takes the majority of the pack weight and distributes on to your hips relieving the shoulders of the burden. This is a must if you are doing any moderate to long hiking. I highly recommend this users of the peak design daypack series. 5
