The Palmer Nearfield Studio Monitor 5" Woofer 0.75" Tweeteris a near-field monitor designed for mixing and critical-listening purposes. A: You would not experience any problems if you connect a balanced signal via XLR to the unbalanced XLR input on the Palmer PAN 02 PRO Active DI Box. The input will be grounded once it is connected and there is a ground switch as well as a transformer-balanced output which helps mitigate any unwanted noise.
