Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you adapt the XLR or 1/4 To go into a computer 3.5 mic jack safely without risk of damaging the computer or do I need something like a Scarlet And if I can adapt it without a scarlet witch adapter should I use I know the basics but I don’t know if the output of the mic is TS TRS TRRS

A: The best practice for connecting a mic to a computer would be through an audio interface like a Focusrite Scarlett or similar product. This will allow for better sound conversation to the computer, and lower noise possibilities.

Q: 2. Is there a drop in charger for the belt pack transmitters

A: Yes. The transmitter includes two standard alkaline AA batteries, but can also be powered using the optional Shure SB903 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for SLX-D Transmitters (B&H # SHSB903). To charge the SB903 battery while inside the transmitter, you can use the Shure SBC203 Dual-Docking Recharging Station for SB903 Batteries & SLX-D Transmitters (B&H # SHSBC203US) which accommodates two SLX-D transmitters or an individual SB903 battery can be charged with the Shure SBC10-903 Single-Battery Charger for SB903 Battery (B&H # SHSBC10903US). Standard rechargeable AA batteries can be used with the SLX-D transmitter, but, can not be charged with either the SBC203 or SBC10-903 chargers or while they are inside the transmitter.

Q: 3. Would this work with a DSLR?

A: You would not be able to directly plug in this mic to a DSLR because the connector is TA4F, which is intended for connecting to a Shure wireless bodypack. For utilizing a lavalier mic such as this in a video application, we would recommend using this mic in conjunction with a portable wireless solution such as the Shure FP15 wireless system. The lavalier would be plugged into the transmitter bodypack and worn by the talent on camera, while the receiver bodypack would be connected to your DSLR or a field mixer. This would also eliminate the issue of the on-camera talent having to be tethered to the camera by the lavalier's cable and would allow for free range of movement as well as a more appropriate shooting distance.

Q: 4. Can this be used with the Gopro mic adapter (BH #GO35MA • MFR #AAMIC-001) and or the Media Mod (BH #GOMMH9B • MFR #ADFMD-001)?

A: Yes, the Saramonic Blink 500 B1 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System (2.4 GHz) is compatible with the GoPro Microphone Adapter and Media Mod Case.

Q: 5. can this microphone work with external voice recorders such as Zoom h1n?

A: No, the Shure CVL Centraverse Cardioid Lavalier Microphone is not compatible for direct connection to the Zoom H1n Portable Handy Recorder. The CVL has a TA4F (4-pin mini-XLR female) connector and the input on the recorder is 3.5mm TRS. In order to use the CVL, you would need to use the Shure Wired TwinPlex Microphone Preamp with Belt Clip - TA4F to XLR (B&H # SHRPM400TQG) together with a phantom power supply such as the Xvive Audio P1 Portable Phantom Power Supply with Rechargeable Battery (B&H # XVP1), and an XLR female to 3.5mm TRS male cable like the Kopul XRSM 3-Pin XLR Female to 3.5mm RA Stereo Mini-Plug Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KOXRSM015B).

Q: 6. Can both microphones be used at the same time?

A: No, that would require the dual-channel receiver BLX88 model. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1194985-REG/shure_blx88_h9_blx88_dual_channel_wireless_receiver.html

Q: 7. does shure BLX88 mix sounds from the dual XLR inputs?

A: No. There is no mixer functionality.

Q: 8. does it include two wireless lapel microphones?

A: No, this listing is for the dual-channel receiver only. If you are looking to purchase a complete dual lavalier wireless system, I would recommend the BLX188/CVL. a href= http://www.shure.com/americas/products/wireless-systems/blx-wireless-systems target= _blank http://www.shure.com/americas/products/wireless-systems/blx-wireless-systems/a

Q: 9. Will these work for stage singing, i.e., a musical with four singers, in both open spaces and closed venues? Thanks

A: This system could be a viable option for stage performance, but it depends on a few factors. First, know you will need 4 of these systems to allow for 4 wireless mics to run at the same time. Second, you would need to confirm which frequencies are available in your performance area, this would tell you what frequency ranges to use and whether this system can hand 4 mics at one time. This can be done using Shure's Wireless Frequency Finder. We would recommend giving us a call at 800-606-6969 to assist in finding that information. Lastly for musicals, you'd probably want a lower profile lav mic you could hide on the performers head, or in a costume. Here's a recommendation for that type of mic BH #SHTL47TOMTQG.

Q: 10. How long is the cord, what plug does it use?

A: The cable length is 51"/1.3m long, and it uses a TA4/mini-XLR-male cable connection.

[9.6 x 6.5 x 2"] Needed a quality mic to record some interviews for a historical video series. Paired with my Sennheisser system, this little mic worked great. This is my 3rd Countryman mic and all seem solid. I'm happy with it.

[Omnidirectional] I used this to replace the mic that comes with a Sennheiser ew 100 G4 and love the size. I have used a Countryman B3 wired mic for years.

[9.6 x 6.5 x 2"] Great for iPhone and iPad. I wish it had a headphone output.

[Omnidirectional] Very good in general - great for the cost. The B3 pairs well with the Senheisser G3 wireless packs. It sounds better than 'starter' mics like the ME2. Sanken sounds a bit better but costs a lot more. I think the B3 is in the sweet spot for moderate budget TV and film. The capsule tips included help shape the sound.

[Black] I like the flexibility of this product in that it enables varied positioning. All that's needed is tape specifically designed for attachment to skin and in my case the upper cheek of my face. It has clear sound and is comfortable to wear.

[9.6 x 6.5 x 2"] I have a Sony wireless lav and have gone through 2 Sony lavs due to the poor design of the cable going into the connector. Talked to a B&H audio consultant on the phone and she suggested the B3. Definitely seems to be a lot stronger at the connector.
