Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.

24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core.

Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.

Rean silver plated connectors offer high conductivity.

Cast zinc shell and chuck style strain relief.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I'm recording actor's voices, Sennheiser mics to a recorder. Is this cable good for actor's voices?

A: Yes. The Kopul Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series Neutrik XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable is a high-quality audio cable that can be used to connect a microphone to the input on an audio recorder. The 4-conductor design and 99% braided shield provide a strong signal with excellent protection against radio frequency and electro-magnetic interference, and the Neutrik XX gold connectors are secure and reliable.

Q: 2. Can I use this to connect two 1/4 to XLR cables into one XLR on camera?

A: No, you can use it as a output splitter, not an input combiner.

Q: 3. Is the length from the Y ? I am looking to put two mics on a single incoming line, 6 feet apart. Will this work?

A: The Kopul XLR Y Cable (XLR-M to Dual XLR-F) is 15" long overall. The manufacturer has not provided a distinction for length either before or after the split, but the Y-junction is approximately halfway down the cable's length.

Q: 4. How long would be the network cable?

A: No cable is included with the Kopul 4-Channel XLR Network Cable Extender Kit with Male and Female Extenders. As these extenders support transmission of analog audio, AES/EBU, and DMX signals, recommended cable length will vary based on what kind of signal you want to send.

Q: 5. Can this be used with a dual wireless receiver like the Sennheiser XSW dual wireless system?

A: The Kopul XLR Y Cable (XLR-M to Dual XLR-F) could be used with a pair of wireless receivers, although all audio will be mixed to mono via the single XLR output connector.

Q: 6. Reduce noise

A: No, microphone cables do not reduce noise. Better mic cables, like this one, will not add as much noise as lesser cables.

Q: 7. is it balanced?

A: The Kopul Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series is a high quality mic cable and can be used for balanced applications.

Q: 8. Can you "daisy chain" these extenders by connecting two male or two female extenders via Cat 5?

A: Each Kopul 4-Channel XLR Network Cable Extender only has a single RJ45 port, so they cannot be daisy chained.

Q: 9. Are these cables balanced?

A: Yes, the Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series Neutrik XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (25', Black, 3-Pack) is fully balanced.

Q: 10. If I purchase this, for usage with my H4n, will I still need to buy an attenuator?

A: It would depend on what is being connected to the recorder.
