The 5.90C Series 5C Compact Lens Case from Beta Shell is an impact and crush proof way to protect your 2.4 to 3.5" long lens. The case is waterproof to 39.4" for 10 minutes. The rigid construction includes an ABS body, lower cap and lid, o-ring seal and neoprene lining. The twist off ribbed lid contains finger grooves as well as a cross bridge configuration.

The case can be closed two ways - Mid-Seal or Max-Seal. Mid-Seal means the case lid will not come off or undone, but an air and water tight seal has not been achieved. Max-Seal means the lid is fully closed and a water and air proof seal has been achieved. The lid will be completely closed. The case includes two silica gel packs, two split rings for optional strap attachment and a 77mm Fitting Disk that can be added to the lower portion of the case to provide a tighter fit. A small bungee strap is included that wraps around the case to help you carry it. Two split rings are included that are used to attach a larger, optional shoulder strap.

[Black] I used this to protect a Canon 16-35 mm lens that went through airport checked baggage. No problems whatsoever. The lens hood has to be reversed to fit in the case. The extra desiccate packs that are included are a nice touch. 5

[Empty] This case is perfect for storing your wireless mics if you need to be mobile. Elastic straps for charging cords, two internal pockets to carry mic covers or whatever needs to be kept safe. All encased in a hard cover box. Very nice indeed. 5

[Yes] I got a new power bank for Christmas and all it came with was a cloth carrier bag. I wanted a hard case for the bank and its accessories. A search of the shopping giant turned up nothing I could use so I turned to my favorite toy store, B&H and found one right away. The bank and its accessories fit snugly and the whole thing goes in the storage compartment in my car. 5

[Yes] This case goes over the apple keyboard case, and provides the more robust protection I think I need without interfering with the keyboard, I was a little unsure that it would do what I wanted, but it's actually pretty great! 5

[Twist-On Lid] My toy box is overflowing but I needed protection for a recently acquired 85mm 1.4 Nikkor lens that I can't afford to replace. A larger percentage of my photography occurs during hiking and a lens on camera and another in backpack has to be sufficient. One Beta Shell was ordered to accommodate four different lens sizes. The 'Shell' is bulky but there isn't an alternative form of lens container that offers the same worry free caliber of security and safety that it does. It doesn't eliminate all possibility of a disaster but for a few dollars extra it does reduce the odds. 5
