The overall adjustment possibilities are quite extensive with height ranging from 6 to 9 inches. Height can still be extended even more simply by replacing the standard 15mm rods that slide inside the handles with a set of rods up to 18, also readily available from B&H Photo.....
Standard width is 10.5 but does not necessarily exclude using a wider camera because of the added forward and rearward adjustment of the base. The base is provided with a Manfrotto 501 style quick release plate and can be raised or lowered using the adjustable slide screw located between the rods. The base can also be moved sideways for centering between the two outer handles. A top plate is also provided with an adjustable cold shoe insert that can provide a very solid anchor for the camera when fastened to the hot shoe receptacle.....
Industry standards allow for using components from the various brands to mix & match with this unit for even more protection and versatility. There are several component bundles that can be added to the C1772 for better handling and offer even better protection for the lens or LCD screen. Using a few low cost add-ons, my camera now has an immense amount of protection in case of tripod tip over so the impact will be absorbed by the frame and will not impact the camera directly. For risky instances I'm also not beyond using bubble wrap or foam padding, but still need protection from rain or (heaven forbid) being dunked in the pond.

[1.31 lb] After watching many YouTube videos, this folding cage sparked my imagination. It is ( in my opinion) well built and works as advertised. It is light and portable. I plan on using a Magic Arm and On Camera light for closeup photography and video also I may use this to mount my IPhone 16 Pro for certain situations. It is truly a clever device. Give one a try you may really like it ?

[1/4"-20 Screw] I've been looking for a secure manfrotto baseplate that can be dropped in and this was the answer. The smallhd attempt at this has a bit of a wobble and this one is solid once locked.

[1.31 lb] I bought this plate to use with the declination bracket on my Skywatcher StarAdventurer tracker. A conventional baseplate with a knob limited rotation of the baseplate because the knob would bump into the bracket. This baseplate has the side lever that is flush with the bottom of the baseplate allowing complete freedom of rotation.

[1.31 lb] After searching for ages to find a top plate that's top-loading for a manfrotto 501/504 plate, I found this. I had been told that this is only a slide-in loader, but based on the pictures, I gambled.
This thing is great. Comes with a plate, and also Locks in pretty tight.
Now I have it permanently attached to the plate of my shoulder rig allowing me to quickly pop the shoulder plate and handles on and go!


tl;dr it's a top loading quick release plate which I've wanted to find.
