Offered here in gray, the Leo 2.0 Tripod with AirHed Pro Ball Head - Grayfrom Leo 2.0 Tripod with AirHed Pro Ball Head - Grayprovides a dynamic support system that features three detachable legs and a removable center column. Together, the tripod and ball head form a support system that features three detachable legs and a removable center column. With the ball head, each leg can be configured as a monopod with up to a 43.4" height or can be combined with the center column to form a monopod with up to 59.2" in height.

Tripod heads such as the AirHed Pro Lever Ball Head that are compatible with a 3/8"-16 mount can be connected to the top of the Leo 2.0 Tripod. When combined and configured as a tripod, the Leo 2.0 Tripod and AirHed Pro Lever Ball Head supports up to 66 lb and measures 14.7" when folded. Each of the tripod's 5-section legs features an independent spread, a 3-position angle lock, and twist locks for rapid deployment. The Leo 2.0 Tripod and AirHed Pro Lever Ball Head can be set at a minimum height of 8.2" when the tripod's 2-section, push-and-pull rapid center column is removed. Together, the three legs can be extended to obtain a maximum height of 44.1" or 57.7" with the center column fully raised along with the ball head. Each of the carbon fiber legs includes a removable rubber foot, which can be substituted with separately available spiked feet to further enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces, including soft or uneven soil.

For added versatility, the Leo 2.0 Tripod's three removable legs can be substituted with separately available 3 Legged Thing footwear accessories for use as a tabletop tripod. A carry bag with strap is provided for storage and transport.

The AirHed Pro Lever Ball Head is an Arca-type ball head with a load capacity of 88.0 lb and can be attached to tripods or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount. Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the included QR-OCTA Quick Release Plate. The quick release plate can be attached or removed from the integrated clamp located at the top of the head's ball-and-socket joint by using the clamp's push-and-pull cam lock lever. When opened, the lever can be rotated and flipped over so that when used to lock the clamp, the direction of the lever's motion best suits either a right- or left-handed user.

Dual retaining screws are included for use along the underside of the plate. These screws prevent the plate from accidentally sliding off the ball head when the clamp is opened. The quick release plate features a rubberized, non-slip platform while a built-in bubble level along the edge of the clamp opposite the cam lock lever accommodates landscape orientations.

By loosening the ball head's primary locking knob, the head's ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. Under the primary locking knob is a secondary locking knob, which controls the ability to rotate the head 360°.

Q: 1. will it fit on my manfrotto tripod?

A: The center column of the 3 Legged Thing Charles 2.0 Darkness Magnesium Alloy Tripod with AirHed Pro Ball Head does not turn into a boom arm. [Twist Lock] This is just perfect for hikes. It's sturdy enough to hold your cameral with a super-telephoto. Yes, a HEAVY duty tripod would be more secure, but then again, it would be too heavy to lug around. The tripod collapses down to fit underneath your daybag/backpack. I highly recommend this tripod. It replaced my vanguard for daily trips and hikes.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] My 2nd 3LT tripod after upgrading from a Punks Billy. This thing is unbelievably stable for its weight. I don't like the leg angle locks quite as much as on the Punks series, but they work fine. Overall, excellent tripod.

[Carbon Fiber] I bought this to use with a Peak Design tripod with the Universal Head adapter, since I wanted to do pans, and the stock PD head doesn't have a panning capability. Panning axis has just the right amount of resistance, and the large knob locks the ball securely for my DSLR with a 200mm. I didn't miss/don't see the need for a separate friction control on a ball this size. Great compact travel head.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This is my second 3LT tripod. Leo collapses short for carrying yet extends to a solid useable height. I'm impressed.

[Carbon Fiber] Smaller than expected for its weight capacity and the knobs are smooth when tension applied. I just wish they made a larger one.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Bought this as I couldn't stand the ball head that comes standard on the excellent Peak Design carbon fiber tripod. It doesn't add noticeable weight and it's only a few inches longer to pack this already very compact tripod. As an added bonus I don't need to raise the center column and more.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I've used a number of tripod heads over the years but this one may be my favorite. I now shoot with the Nikon Z mirrorless system exclusively so I would recommend getting the 3 Legged Thing L bracket for the Z6/Z7 which really compliments this particular ball head. As for the head itself, it's compact yet extremely sturdy. The ball head adjustment knob dampens down movement in a very precise and controlled way, there is no slop at all, unlike other ball heads. Plus you can use this on any tripod with a 3/8th screw mount. I have mine on a Benro carbon fiber tripod which makes it light as a feather. Another bonus is the leveling bubble which I have found to be extremely helpful especially when dealing with uneven ground. I've been shooting for over 30 years at this point so I'm kind of jaded when it comes to new photo accessories, but I'm absolutely jazzed over this new ball head. It's made tripod shooting so much more pleasant and user friendly. Get one and see for yourself!

[5.67 lb] The compact size of this as well as ease of changing it around make this a great choice for me while raveling or working.

[Carbon Fiber] I originally ordered tripods that were inexpensive from Amazon and learned why they were inexpensive. The ball head slipped and the plate did not stay in the camera tightly. The three legged beast it should be called is steady as a rock easy to adjust and very light. Worth the price.
