[1.0 oz / 30 g] I use this primarily as a video light, and it performs fantastically. That it can work as a strobe is a bonus, but if you want to capture subjects in high speed, I'd recommend a dedicated high speed flash. All in all, love this as a static video light.

[2.4 GHz] Well built, sturdy construction. Great features including the ability to use flash instead of continuous light. Plan on using this LED light with the Spot attachment. Should be a great addition to use in conjunction in the studio.

[1.0 oz / 30 g] I have 2. I use them with my D800 and D850. I got them for night landscapes, but I'm actually using them for every shot on tripod. I'm getting older, got frustrated with blurring. 1/focal length SS just doesn't work for me anymore - I want 'sharp'. These things are easy to use. Batteries last forever. Radio control is wonderful. (I set them on different channels.) They have not failed click off a shot. 4-hour star trails are easy - set your camera up, read a book or take a nap in your car and go back to get the camera . . whenever. Pic's done. Same with stacked photos - 'want 10 16-sec pics? Easy. I keep one in each photo bag. Honestly, my biggest problem with these things is just connecting the Nikon 10-pin connector.

[0.105 lb] I shoot marathons, triathlons, 5ks, tough mudders and the like. Some of these events start prior to sunrise. Most race photographers will use a speedlite before sunrise. They will be hampered by slow focusing and slow recycling of any speedlite. With the fv200 I can turn on the model light for quick focus and then flash the led at 10 frames per second with no recycle time.


The only con is the unit is bulky with lightstand and power station atttached. But you can shoot 1000s of images while others shooting with speedlites will be likely to manage maybe a couple hundred images.

The RC-A6 remote really fills..the need! It is smaller than I realized...but it is Big on function and usage! It has great range and when the lights are set...in angles or heights that are hard to reach...this remote helps...tremendously!
All led digital readout and has a backlight.
Even with all these functions...the B&H...Price makes it a...No Brainer!

[1.0 oz / 30 g] I've had wired timer remotes for years and many met their end by getting wet, the cord breaking, or the screen fading. This solves a lot of those issues. The receiver is small, it fits in a hot shoe or can be attached to a 1/4-20 screw, and the cord can be changed so I can use it with either of my cameras. Also, since the cord isn't attached, it makes it much easier to pack away into a gadget bag.

Two minor issues I've found: 1) like all Godox remotes, it they don't like rechargeable batteries and show them as being low/dead even when they are fully charged. 2) The receiver will change channel sometimes when the batteries are removed/replaced. It's not a huge issue but mine kept switching to channel 10.

[164' / 50 m] Used this on a photoshoot for my wife. I was wondering if it would pair well as an accent light to go with my ad400pro. It did well! I put a yellow gel on it for the background color.

[0.105 lb] I love the lights and you cn operate them using a phone app, however, I prefer to use the dedicated remote. Simple, clean, no fuss, no muss. I have gone so far as to buy one for each head. I control them independently instead of groups. It makes my studio far more productive as attire and needs change frequently during the day.
