Built to an IP67 rating, it has a built-in purge valve and an O-ring sealed beveled lid. The case is a safe and dependable way to store and transport your kit whether your location shoot is across town or across an ocean. The lid has egg crate foam and the main insert is made from precut, low-abrasion, closed-cell foam to prevent your gear from shifting or knocking together. The insert is configured to hold two camera bodies, a 16-35mm lens, a 24-70mm lens, batteries, plus accessories like cables and flash drives. There is an adjustable compartment for larger gear like a 70-200mm lens.

For added security, the case accepts user-supplied padlocks. Other design features include handle and lid stays, solid and reliable PowerClaw latches, and durable stainless steel hardware. The case is made of lightweight but tough impact-resistant NK-7 resin material and has a 58 lb maximum buoyancy. Designed to be stackable with other 935 cases, it has an IP67 rating for resistance to water and dust. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this good to go for "carry-on" luggage internationally?

A: Yes.

Q: 2. There aren't many reviews for this Nanuk case. I have naturally always defaulted to Pelican as the industry standard of sorts. Is Nanuk comparable and just as dependable? I can let go of trivial details like the color (my company gets yellow) not matching. But, I'm more concerned with reliability, dependability and withstanding a lot of travel, use, wear and tear, etc. I've read all I can read regarding Nanuk.

A: Nanuk and Pelican are both high quality case manufacturers with unique differences in the way they design and build their cases. Either one is dependable and offer similar options, with some distinct differences depending upon which cases you're comparing. We recommend either company, and could recommend more specific advice if you contact our Sales team, via: chat, email, phone, or in the NYC SuperStore.

Q: 3. Is the clear plastic on the lid organizer durable?

A: Yes it is a very strong plastic that is durable and long lasting.

Q: 4. Would the Pelican 1519 lid organizer fit on the Nanuk 935 if you relocate the screw holes based on Nanuk's?

A: I do not believe so. We do not recommend this as that model is only dedicated to Pelican Cases. My apologies.

Q: 5. Has anyone used the Nanuk 935 with a Canon 400mm f/2.8 lens? The specs look like this would fit and maybe store a camera body to

A: The Canon RF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens does fit in the Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Utility Case with Padded Divider Insert (Black).

Q: 7. Is this case able to hold a sony fx6 camera body? I heard it isn't very deep and am not sure if my camera would fit .

A: The Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Utility Case with Padded Divider Insert & Lid Organizer (Silver) is 7.5 inches deep. It will fit the FX6 on the side. If you place it standing up you will need to remove the top handle.

Q: 8. Hi. Will the TrekPak system fit into this case? I've read the 1510 does but the 1535 is too big. Can you confirm if it does, please? Thanks :)

A: You are correct the, the 1510 should fit. The 1535 will not. But note these are made for specific cases. So, they will not fit perfect in the Nanuk 935 case.

[15 lb] Great case, beautiful, functional, and light. It has been traveling with me for a while and has performed quite well in rainy and dry weather. Latches seal the case tightly and secure. I fit 6 cinema lenses inside it. Kind of tight but they fit.

[Latch] La maleta está mejor de lo que esperaba, la compré con el separador de espuma, pero le metí el separador de mi maletín Manfrotto el cual quedaba un poco pequeño pero pude adaptarlo a la medida y queda Perfecto el equipo

[Universal] Case with the padded insert and lid organizer make it easier to sort out camera equipment. I can fit two zoom lenses and a small prime, with other small bits.

[Yes] I am able to fit all my gear in it, no more back pains for this guy:)
Although my set up is a bit messy right now, it fits my A7RV with a battery grip, A6600, Sony 200mm- 600mm, sony 20mm, sigma 24mm-70mm and sigma 105mm macro. some other miscellaneous gear. fits on the top compartment as well. Granted, lens hoods will go in a different bag since they take a lot of space.

[Yes] I took this thing to Australia and back and it held up very well and protected the cameras well. 10/10. Didn’t have a problem with any of the airlines using this as a carryon.

[Gray] This case is great to pack a few equipment for a quick trip. As a videographer its a bit small for me, so I decided to only put my camera gear in it and keep audio stuff in another case. The wheels and extendable handle are fantastic!

[Latch] Ordered this case to go along with the same case with the divider and lid organizer for an astrophotography trip to South Texas. Between the two cases, my gear arrived safe and sound (both there and back). The pick-and-pluck foam is easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I shaped it to fit the exact shape of my equipment - mount, computer, filter wheel, and guide scope. I used the case with the divider for my telescope, astro camera, and cables. I could carry these cases on board my United flight and store them overhead fairly easily. The packed cases are a little heavy, but not too much for my almost age-70 body. My wife complained about wheeling the case through the airport as they are just a little narrow and are prone to tilt over occasionally. My only wish would be that these cases had 360 wheels instead of the older type pull behind wheels.
