The cocoa Countryman B2D Lavalier Mic, Medium Gain, XLR Connector (Cocoa)from Countryman B2D Lavalier Mic, Medium Gain, XLR Connector (Cocoa)features a lightweight 0.18-ounce body that was designed to be discreetly mounted and can be used for miking news anchors, actors in a film or theater setting, lecturers in a school or house of worship type environment.

The B2D's tight hypercardioid pattern gives the mic an extra 6-10 dB of headroom compared to an omnidirectional lavalier mic, which means less problems with feedback, ambient noise, room rumble, and phase cancellations when using multiple microphones.

This version offers medium gain for very loud speaking, such as in theater performances and most vocals. In addition, the B2D lavalier is equipped with a hardwired cable that terminates to a 3-Pin XLR connector for direct connection to Select 3-Pin XLR mixers, recorders, and other devices with an XLR connection.

A: It depends on which microphone you are using. This clip can accommodate wires between .06 - .09" (1.5 - 2.2mm) in diameter, and the windscreens are for mics 1/4" in diameter.

Q: 4. Does the Samson LM5 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone with Samson 3-Pin Connector for Samson Bodypack Transmitters come as shown.....tie clip and wind foam with the mic?

A: Yes. But the lav clip could have been made by Fisher Price. It was a huge clip that didn't hold the mic very well. The mic itself was pretty muddy. I went ahead and upgraded to a whole new Wireless Lav system as this replacement mic was just $45 down the drain.

A: The XLR cable in the Deity Microphones ASM1 Adjustable Shockmount with Built-In XLR Connector Holder is affixed and cannot be removed.

A: No, it is the wrong size and will not fit. Neither the clip or windscreens in this accessory kit fit the Sennheiser ME 2, which is the lavalier mic that is included with the ew 112-p G3 system. The Audio-Technica AT8439 lavalier clothing clip (B&H # AUAT8439) is a single clip that is sized to fit any lavalier mic. The WindTech TC-5 Universal Tie Clips (B&H # WITC5) 3-pack are also the correct size. Auray WLF-OLM2-10 Foam Windscreens (B&H # AUWLFOLM210) are designed to fit the ME 2 lavalier.

A: The Auray WLF Series Foam Windscreens have an inside diameter of .25 . The Sony ECM-44B, ECM55B, and ECM-66B all have a diameter greater than .25 . You may consider the ECM-77b whose diameter is 0.25 .

[1 to 2 V] Going from a Shure WL93 to a Countryman E6 is like going from a Ford Pinto to a Audi A8. The Sound is fantastic. We work in an incredibly reflective, medium sized hall, and feedback is no longer an issue. The only issue that I've personally encountered is that we are still using Shure ULX wireless transmitters/recievers, and even with the gain on both maximized, it's still not quite enough. Having to then add gain on the board adds some unwanted background noise; however, I don't blame the mics for this issue, but instead our wireless system. Overall, Great mics. 5

[Cocoa] I use these in a corporate speech and presentation environment. I have tried other knock-offs some of these knock offs have good sound quality, but sacrifice build quality, some are built ok, but sound like you are talking into a bowl with literally nothing from the lower mids down. Some look bad and sound bad. The Countryman E6 is the best performing and longest lasting ear-set microphone I have ever tried. They are really expensive, but in my opinion if you have the budget, they are worth it. 5
