[13.255 lb] I picked this up on sale to go with my new 36 octagonal Softbox. Though I haven't used it for a shoot yet, I did test it with my Nikon D850 and wireless flash transmitter. It worked perfectly. This is my first experience with something other than an on-camera flash. I'm looking forward to using it soon for some head shots.

[Hi-Speed Sync] I purchased another one of these used from B&H. It was in 9 condition, so it was perfect. I used it a few times and I realized that I really loved it so much I needed another one. I decided that using my speed lights instead of a strobe was really a limitation. For onscene shooting, these GT 250s are a perfect size and travel well. They come with lots of accessories, filters, barn doors and a Bowens mount for other accessories. This is also compatible with the Godox transmitter receiver family.

[200 Ws] Still learning more about flash photography and lighting but, this kit made things less overwhelming. It's simple...2 mono lights, 2 32 Octa soft boxes, one stand and one boom stand and a 16 channel light trigger. All accessories like speed rings for mounting your soft lights and of course the mesh screens for your lights as well. The advantage of having a boom light is really great. It spreads the light even for any of my product photography sessions. The additional soft light adds to the mood perfectly. Using a Canon EOS T7 I found the included trigger does work with it.

[Mini (1/8")] 25 year portrait photographer here...After buying all the expensive stribes, I thought I'd try this strobe, less than $100. Works great, with an umbrella for portraits, etc. Why pay more?

[13.255 lb] As Godox started to spend more money on marketing and compete with the big boys, the value for their increased price is slowly diminishing. This is where Geekoto steps in and they need our support to fill this market void. After a month of use, I find it just as good as my Godox products. Below are the pros and cons that Geekoto should pay attention to.

Pros:
- Good build quality, not worried to throw this thing around. Would like to see how much replacement bulb cost as that is the only fragile item in the entire kit.
- Value!! 50 watts more power, smartly designed pistol grip with umbrella & light stand holes, Bowens mount adapter, and magnetic light modifier kit included in the base price. This kit would cost near $500 with Godox AD200pro roundhead kit.
- Color accuracy is on par with other popular strobes in the market.
- The sliding on/off switch, so no press and hold to turn on the light.
- The pistol grip is very innovative, smooth adjustments and clever screw system for light stand when not in use.
- Compatibility with godox system.

Cons/improvements:
- Slightly larger than expected. Wish the length and width were smaller for better portability.
- TTL +/- does not work or show on screen when using a godox trigger. Asking Geekoto for a software update to resolve this.
- Bownes mount design is nice but the tightening screw stands out bit much and if you are using a heavy softbox, I would feel more comfortable using a bracket like Godox S2, so all the weight is not on the pistol grip connector.
- Recycle time at full power is slightly longer than similar godox lights.
