Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat-frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What third party mics are supported? Would like to add some smaller profile mics to use with this kit.

A: Any lav that is NOT wired for Sony and has a locking 3.5mm jack will work with this system.

Q: 2. Does the receiver have a stereo output? Will I be able to separate the tracks or are they stuck together as one mono file?

A: Yes, the dual-channel receiver in the Polsen UWM-2 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for Cameras and Smartphones (538 to 586 MHz) implements a stereo 3.5mm output and each transmitter signal can be separated out of the receiver via the provided cable options.

Q: 3. Can you split one transmitter to one receiver and the other transmitter to the other receiver?

A: Yes, you can split the Saramonic SR-WM2100 X 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System into two systems and use one transmitter with one receiver and the second transmitter with the second receiver.

Q: 4. Are there any advantages or disadvantages of using the UC90 version? Is it true that a license is required to use this band.

A: No license is required to use any version of the Sony UWP-D27 within the USA. There is no objective benefit to any frequency block over another, as the frequencies used has no direct effect on audio quality. The only case in which you would prefer one frequency block over another would be if 1. there is radio activity/interference within one band in your area, or 2. if you need to ensure compatibility between this and another Sony wireless device.

Q: 5. I'm in Denver and I cannot decide which frequency block to get. If anyone can help me decide, and explain why, that would be lovely!

A: The UC14: 470 to 542 MHz and UC25: 536 to 608 MHz frequency bands for the Sony UWP-D27 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System are both very good options for use in Denver, Colorado. Each band has 2,772 auto-scan frequencies so there are plenty of individual frequencies within the band to be able to find clear frequencies to use for transmitting audio and avoiding strong broadcast signal from local radio and TV stations.

Q: 6. What frequencies recommend for Canada?

A: The UC14: 470 to 542 MHz and UC25: 536 to 608 MHz frequency ranges of the Sony UWP-D27 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System are both good options for use in Canada. Each range's viability and number of open channels can vary based on the specific location they are used in.

Q: 7. what is the latency ?

A: According to the manufacturer, because the Sennheiser EW 112P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System sends an analog audio signal, it has no latency.

Q: 8. My laptop has only USB-A or HDMI ports. Will this unit work with an adapter to one of those ports?

A: The receiver in the Saramonic Blink 500 B5 Digital Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for USB Type-C Devices cannot be adapted for HDMI connection, but it can be adapted for USB Type-A. An adapter such as the Rocstor USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Female to Type-A Male Adapter (BH #ROY10A207A1) could be used for this purpose: https://bhpho.to/3Kl2On0

Q: 9. Is the 538 to 586 Mhz band legal in the US, and does it require a license?

A: The 538 to 586 MHz used by the Polsen UWM-2 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System is legal for unlicensed use in the United States and North America.

Q: 10. Is there a specific settings for the Sony A7c or simply connect and it works ?

A: No on the Sony make sure you go into the audio settings and manually adjust mic sensitivity to like -6 ot -8

[Tan] Needed a quality mic to record some interviews for a historical video series. Paired with my Sennheisser system, this little mic worked great. This is my 3rd Countryman mic and all seem solid. I'm happy with it.

[Plug-In Power] Use them for recording many events and amplification for live events. Only lament is that they are a bit fragile.

[Tan] I use these in a corporate speech and presentation environment. I have tried other knock-offs some of these knock offs have good sound quality, but sacrifice build quality, some are built ok, but sound like you are talking into a bowl with literally nothing from the lower mids down. Some look bad and sound bad. The Countryman E6 is the best performing and longest lasting ear-set microphone I have ever tried. They are really expensive, but in my opinion if you have the budget, they are worth it.
