  • The bodypack transmitter uses a locking 3.5mm connection to secure the SR-M1 lavalier mic. A short press of the power button mutes the mic between takes.
  • The UWMIC9’s Auto Scan feature searches among 96 frequencies to find the cleanest available frequency for you, while the built-in infrared sync makes linking the transmitter and receiver a snap.
  • Easy-to-understand menus and controls, along with backlit LCD displays, allow you to make quick adjustments under varying lighting conditions.
  • The TX9 transmitter can accept mic or line inputs and offers three selectable levels of wireless transmission power. The highest setting is designed to overcome interference in busy RF environments or when the subject is further from the receiver; lower settings conserve battery power.
  • A headphone output on the receiver enables real-time audio monitoring, especially useful if your camera lacks a headphone output.
  • Power is supplied via AA batteries for up to 6 hours of battery life.
  • The system offers a maximum distance of up to 330’ and supports up to 8 mics at once on set.

  • For man-on-the-street interviews or if you need to pass the mic between several people, you can add the HU9 wireless handheld microphone.
  • Adding the TX-XLR9 plug-on transmitter allows you to connect any handheld microphone of your choice or a shotgun mic for wireless booming. You can even apply 48V phantom for condenser mics.
  • A wide selection of optional output cables (available separately) allows you to connect the receiver to smartphones and tablets via Lightning or USB Type-C ports, or the TRRS headphone output. There is also a mini-USB cable for action cameras and a USB Type-A cable for computers.

[12 ms] Heritage Trail Association a historical site needs to record presenters both in the historic house and in the field so range and quality is important. The sound pickup, range and quality of this product was exactly what was needed. This is a major improvement for us over a high quality camera mounted microphone. In addition the ability to move allows the speakers and actors to be more comfortable. I would recommend this category of product and definitely this product specifically.

[Lavalier] I use the Saramonic Blink 500 for work and it has not been the most reliable. It was then I found that it was on the same frequency as wifi and Bluetooth. For my personal projects, I wanted something better built and hopefully that was on a different bandwidth. I decided to give this a go. I have used it a handful of times and it has worked well. I paired it with a Nikon Z6II. The noise floor is around -50db. I usually add a compressor in post and the sound is good for my needs. I use these to make high end YouTube videos. The case is all metal. Some reviewers have complained about the batteries. I bought 2700ma rechargeable batteries. I used them for three hours and the battery indicator never moved from full. I would recommend buying high end batteries for these if you plan to shoot all day. They shouldn't give you an issue. The only tricky think I found is when you want to pair them to a new channel, you have press the button on the Tx and the Rx at the same time. I didn't understand this at first. Some have also mentioned about the belt clip falling off easily. I had quite the time getting the clip on the pack and was very stable for my talent to wear, so I don't see that being an issue. So far I'm happy with the product and I would recommend it.

[Bodypack] Go ahead and compare this to a Sony, it's identical.

I've been using Sony Microphones for over 30 years. I took the chance on this because as a news reporter having the ability to record on two channels is great. I have the lav on one channel and the handheld on the other. This was a second lav purchase so I can mic two. They work great.
