This K&F Concept Green Multi-Coated UV Filter 86mmfrom K&F Concept Green Multi-Coated UV Filter 86mmfits lenses with a 86mm filter thread, providing ultraviolet filtration to reduce haze, with the added benefit of protecting the lens from dust, debris, fingerprints, and impact. Made of German Schott B270 optical glass for superb transparency, this filter also features multi-coating to reduce potential internal flare and glare. A: If the filter and lens has been properly cleaned before use and you're not using a stepup adapter ring you should not see any flare or unusual color. If your issue persists, suggest you exchange for a B&W filter.

[Glass] I used these for my Sony 11mm and Sigma 56mm lenses for protection. Handles fingerprint smudges and repels moisture well. I have taken shots with them on, and the quality of glass did good! Excellent Value 5

[Clear] coatings seem to be good. Cleans easy. No optical aberrations. Does not darken corners even on tough lenses in this regard like the Sony 24-105 G f/4. 5

[Clear] It's rare to find a UV filter that uses multi-coated Schott glass at this price point. Build quality is excellent, the slim design with knurled edges for easy gripping is appreciated. The other reason I chose this filter over other models is the high transmission rate, so ideally this filter should have little to know effect on image quality, but I haven't A/B tested this, but images do look outstanding with my Tamron 90mm Macro, the lens I have mounted this filter on. 5

[0.17 lb] This is my first purchase of a K&F filter. It was well packaged and fit and finish looks first rate. Don't know about its claimed light transmission percentage but the images taken with and without the filter installed appear identical. 5

[Clear] I think this is my 2nd or 3rd one of these and I am impressed. They take many turns to screw onto your lens so it feels like it's not going to bind ever. Optically really clear with high light tranmittance for such an inexpensive UV, protect, filter. Recommended. 5
