The tan Countryman B2D Lavalier Mic for Audio Technica Wireless Transmittersfrom Countryman B2D Lavalier Mic for Audio Technica Wireless Transmittersfeatures a lightweight 0.18-ounce body that was designed to be discreetly mounted and can be used for miking news anchors, actors in a film or theater setting, lecturers in a school or house of worship type environment.

The B2D's tight hypercardioid pattern gives the mic an extra 6-10 dB of headroom compared to an omnidirectional lavalier mic, which means less problems with feedback, ambient noise, room rumble, and phase cancellations when using multiple microphones.

This version offers the highest gain for general chest-worn applications such as presentations or sermons. In addition, the B2D lavalier is equipped with a hardwired cable that terminates to a cH-style 4-pin connector for direct connection to Audio Technica ATW-T5201 wireless bodypack transmitters.

With its small size and sensitivity options, the B2D can easily hide behind a shirt button. This makes it invisible for film work, theater, live shows, or any other application.

Natural vocal reproduction and a tight polar pattern make the B2D ideal for broadcast and is a dependable workhorse you can count on to perform night after night.

The isolation clips minimize clothing and vibration noise while allowing 360° of rotation for easy positioning of the microphone.

This microphone is tuned to a frequency response that is natural and intelligible at a wide range of distances from the mouth. It delivers wonderful sound quality on the chest (8-10" from the mouth) or towards the collar (3-4").

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this cartridge fully capable of playing CD-4, QS, SQ, and other 4 channel quadraphonic records?

A: This phono cartridge cannot be used for this type of multi-4 channel vinyl record; playback: Phono cartridges with very high frequency range were rare in the 1970s but became much more common in later years. Only through the use of an elliptical tip stylus is the cartridge able to accurately reproduce the necessary extended range. This stylus is usually marketed as a "Shibata", "Line Contact" or "Micro Ridge" type. By contrast, a standard conical or cone shape stylus has less contact area with the record groove. CD-4 playback in 4 channels also requires a specialized CD-4 demodulator. Such demodulators have not been sold commercially since the 1970s. These were often built as independent components. However, some audio receivers and or amplifiers built in the 1970s included the CD-4 demodulator as a built-in feature, along with FM radio and amplifier circuitry. The sum of the front and rear signals are combined on each wall of the record grove, then a very high frequency carrier level is applied which contains the difference signal. This signal starts at 30,000 cycles and extends up near 50,000 cycles. When played on a regular stereo, these discs sound normal (hence compatible), but to hear the quad separation, the signal must be demodulated. A typical high-performance CD-4 system would include a turntable with a CD-4 compatible phono cartridge, a CD-4 demodulator, a four-channel amplifier (or receiver), and four identical full-range loudspeakers.[4] CD-4 encoded records were also compatible with conventional two-channel stereo playback systems. In stereo mode all four channels of music can be heard over two speakers. Specialized equipment is not required for stereo playback.

Q: 2. This headphone, focal spirit pro, msr7, or Sony 7520? Clarity, neutrality, and quality. I need the truest and clearest sound.

A: Hi,I love these headphones. They are very true studio monitor headphones. The bass response is good not woofy at all.Just clear. Very little sound leakage, comfortable and the multi cords are very convenient.

Q: 3. What speakers will work with this turntable, and do I need to buy additional cords to connect them?

A: You can use any powered speakers with the AT-LP60X. A few examples of compact solutions we offer are the Kanto YU2, the Edifier R1280T, the PreSonus Eris E3.5, as well as the Mackie CR3-X. Each of these speaker models include RCA cable that can be used directly with your AT-LP60X turntable.

Q: 4. Does this connect to Zoom H5?

A: Yes if connected via the included 24 (0.61 m) Cable (5-Pin XLR-F to Two Standard XLR-3M Connectors)

Q: 5. can i use for listening to tv?

A: If you're tv has a dedicated headphone output, then sure. Otherwise, a wireless tv listening system would be better to allow for a more enjoyable and controllable listening experience. Here's a suggestion BH #SERS1359ABLK.

Q: 6. Do I need a tuner and or amplifier for this turntable to work?

A: There's no need for a tuner, this turntable has a USB connection to go directly into your computer. This turntable also does not need a phono preamp the only reason to get a amplifier is if you are sending the audio from here into passive speakers, if the speakers are already powered there's no need for a amplifier.

Q: 7. Can I use this turntable (AT-LP60XBT) with the JBL Flip 5 bluetooth speaker?

A: Yes, you shouldn't have any issues with your speaker.

Q: 8. Is it possible to get a shorter cable for this mic?

A: Yes, shorter XLR 5-pin female to dual XLR 3-pin male cables are available. The cable included with the miic is 5-feet long. We do have a 6-inch Sennheiser ACS5 5-pin XLR Female to Dual XLR Male Y Cable (B&H # SEACS), an 18-inch Remote Audio 5-Pin Stereo XLR Female to Dual XLR Male Y-Cable (B&H # RECAXSTE), and a 4.9-foot Lewitt DTP 40 Trs - 5-Pin XLR Female to Dual 3-Pin XLR Male Audio Cable (B&H # LEDTP40TRS) that will work with the BP4025 microphone.

Q: 9. Do I need a pre-amp to connect it to a laptop?

A: The Audio-Technica Pro 35 Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone requires a USB audio interface with XLR inputs for connection to a computer.

Q: 10. I was wondering if this would work with the ATW-R3100b receiver?

A: The Audio-Technica ATM610a/S requires a cable to operate. This mic has no wireless capability built in. The Audio Technica 3000 series requires a wireless handheld transmitter such as the ATW-T371b. Available in multiple frequencies to match 3000 series receivers currently available. [Plug-In Power] I bought the B3 as a replacement for my sennheiser ME-2 stock mic, because I do a lot of filming in noisy office environments with air conditioning and ventilation. I am so blown away at how well the B3 performs. It reduced the background noise significantly. In fact I bought a 2nd unit. So worth it.

[Hypercardioid] I like the flexibility of this product in that it enables varied positioning. All that's needed is tape specifically designed for attachment to skin and in my case the upper cheek of my face. It has clear sound and is comfortable to wear.

[Hypercardioid] I'm a professional video guy but not a professional audio guy. I was having issues trying to hide big ole mics that probably shouldn't be hidden (due to size and causing clothing noise because of that). A professional audio friend of mine recommended this mic and I'm so happy that I bought it. Easy to hide, beautiful sound. I couldn't be happier. I bought this to use with my Sennheiser G3 wireless system. I would buy this mic again without a second thought.
