This replacement battery pack features a capacity of 1800mAh, 7.4V of output power and 13.32 watt-hours. Q: 3. Does this battery require a different charger since it's voltage is higher than the original, or can the (P900) camera's internal charger get it to full capacity?

A: The original charger will work with the battery.

Q: 4. How does this Watson battery compare to the Li90 by ProMaster and/or Pentax batteries?

A: The performance is nearly the same, however longevity may be a bit less over time.

Q: 5. Will the D-LI90(E) work with the D-LI90 Charger that comes with the K-3?

A: Yes, however I also ordered a spare from B&H...I have had great results with both the battery and charger and would order again.

Q: 6. Will this last half the time as the Canon one? Is that why it's half the price?

A: These batteries will perform equally as well as the OEM batteries, however as a third party brand, Watson is able to pass along savings to the customer.

A: Yes, the Watson D-Li90 battery will work with the Pentax K3.

Q: 8. Will this charge in the Pentax D-BC90 charger?

A: yes, the Pentax D-BC90 will charge the Watson battery. I have some my self and they work fine.

Q: 9. Does this fit in the KP battery grip?

A: If you are referring to the Pentax D-BG7 Battery Grip, B&H # PEDBG7, then yes, the Pentax D-LI90(E) Lithium-Ion Battery (7.2V, 1860mAh), B&H # PEDLI90E, would be compatible for use inside the Pentax D-BG7 Battery Grip.

Q: 10. Will the rechargeable pentax K-500 batteries will work on my new K-3??

A: The K-3 specs clearly say D-LI90 battery. The Pentax D-LI90(E) battery is the replacement for the D-LI90, but the two can be used interchangeably.

[0.23 lb] Charge time - 2 hours!!! Lasted over 1 1/2 days of fairly heavy use in 35 - 40 temps. 5

[0.23 lb] Don't get anything else. It's just as good as the Pentax-branded unit as far as I can tell, and costs half as much, I use them with a K3. 5

[Pentax D-LI90] I have used Watson lithium rechargeable batteries for years in Nikon, Fujifilm and Pentax cameras. No problems with battery life, recharging or performance. 5

[Lithium-Ion] I buy Pearstone batteries exclusively for my Pentax bodies. They work as well as OEM batteries for a fraction of the price. They hold their charge and recharge quickly. Definitely worth the price! 5
