A: No instruction manual that we know of, but if you follow the images you should be able to figure out the way it fits around the camera.

The way the cover surrounds the eyepiece there is no chance of moisture getting to the body of the camcorder.

Q: 4. I understand that the clear see-through cover allows viewing of the LCD screen. However, the rain cover I now have also has this and it blocks the sensor that allows the LCD screen to come on at all, thus forcing me to use only the viewfinder for focusing. I'm wondering if this model has a feature that will not trigger the little sensor or if I would have to cut out the clear viewfinder in order to use the LCD screen?

A: It does not have that. What you would need to do is go in the menu of the camera and set for the monitor mode selection to be made manually, then you would manually switch between using the LCD or the viewfinder as needed.

A: PortaBrace does not list dimensions for this rain cover, but the Z9 with the 100-400mm lens would not fit in this.
