This Corning USB 3.1 Gen 1 to Micro-USB Optical Cable 65.6'from Corning USB 3.1 Gen 1 to Micro-USB Optical Cable 65.6'supports USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) data transfer up to 65.6' over optical fiber. It includes bus power delivery over two copper wires with built-in over-current protection. Its all-metal housing provides superior EMI performance. [Micro-USB Male] Works perfectly. Runs hot on connector at computer. My 1st one lasted about 23 months (24/7) which is not bad for my needs. Corning does NOT repair these. When it dies, out of warranty, you simply have to get a new one. No problem really. 5

[USB-A Male] I've used this cable for over a year now and it allows me to keep my RAID on a different side of my office then my Mac Pro freeing up room on my desk. It is fast and is very long. Maybe too much for my needs right now but it is good to know that I can go longer if needed. 5

[Cable] A lot of time I had to use a junction that slowed down the transfer or effect the data. This cable was the answer! Smooth transfers at rate of over 700mb/sec. I transffered 15gb data from a compactflash card to a hard drive in under 5 minutes. 5

My old thunderbolt cable was only 10' feet long so I constantly had to run back and forth from the desk to the recording area to run sessions.
