The Livecom1000 Wireless Intercom System Base Station Beltpacks Headsetsfrom Livecom1000 Wireless Intercom System Base Station Beltpacks Headsetsis a full-duplex, wireless intercom system suitable for film, theater, or production scenarios where communication is key. The system offers 1000' of transmission distance and operates on the 1.9 GHz frequency band.

The system includes a base station, four beltpacks, and five headsets, allowing five people to communicate with each other. The base station offers a 3.5mm connection for one headset, four USB-A charging ports, and a USB-C debugging port. Connect to another Livecom1000 system via the RJ45 port and you can combine two systems together if your team is larger than five people.

The base station can last up to 20 hours on a single charge of one (separately available) Lithium battery. However, the unit has two battery slots, so you can disengage one battery when it loses its charge without disrupting the system as a whole (it will stay powered from the other battery). This is a useful feature for mission-critical circumstances.

The four beltpacks have built-in batteries, and can each last up to eight hours. A multi-port USB-C charger is included, as is a power adapter for the base station, two base-station antennas, USB charging cables, and a hard carrying case to transport everything.

The full-duplex wireless transmission along with the noise cancellation headsets ensures everything said is heard loud and clear.

The built-in Lithium batteries on the beltpacks can run up to 8 hours on a single full charge. Beltpacks can be charged either through the base station or the included multiport USB wall charger.

The base station can either be powered by the included power adapter, or by L-series-style batteries. The base station can be powered either by one or two batteries allowing you to swap batteries without the unit dying.

Connect another Livecom1000 to increase the total beltpacks to 8 via the interface 4-wire port. An RJ45 T-568B cable can be used.

To our knowledage it will not connect with an RTS P31 wired system.

[600 Ohms] I had a Expensive wireless intercom System, but, to much problem with interference and noise in the communications, and to much money for repairs and upgrades, and now with the Data Video ITC-100 everything it's much better, Clear sound, no interference, no Batteries needed, works Great... 5

[Mono] Coming from the broadcast world, doing small to medium events. Really wanted to get away from wires and belt packs. These were the only cost-effective realistic solution. They worked great. We used them day in and day out. The batteries charge fast. The range was good. If you get enough people and enough staging in the way, of course you're going to lose reception over a couple hundred feet and how many walls. But I never felt like they were oversold in terms of range. I love these things, they made our work lives easier and better every day. 5

[32 Ohms] I used the intercom system for the first time during a video shoot at a marching band contest. I was concerned my cameraman would not be able to hear the director over the load music, but it was not a problem at all, even with the inexpensive headsets that came with the unit. 5

[600 Ohms] At first I was worried that these would not have enough gain, but I was wrong. I have some cameramen rigth next to the main speakers and they don't even have the volume on the beltpack half way up! Amazing. 5

[GFSK] I read multiple reviews of the Eartec UltraLITE Headsets prior to purchasing. My first impression after unboxing was that these feel more like a toy than a production environment tool. The $22 battery replacement cost also is a bit of a red flag. It's a proprietary battery so third party batteries aren't an option. In the past I've had to rely on hand signals or my production team members actually paying attention to move from live interviews to prerecorded scenes during livestreams. Not anymore. These simply work, despite their amateur appearance. Since they operate on the 1.9 GHz spectrum, I've never experienced dropouts or interference when in use. You can't toss them around like regular headphones. They not as well built as headphones. Keep them in the protective case when not in use and remove the batteries as recommended when not in use. I'm sure other companies make a better built headset, but at a much higher cost. If you treat them with care and follow the recommendations, these should provide you with several years of worry-free operation. 5
