You can't use this in place of a cable tv modem that uses a coax feed like xfinity - but you can place this after your modem and use it for wifi. It will also work by itself - OR - with multiple units to create a mesh network. You can also use it with the Synology ac2600 router to create a mesh system. I have the 2600ac router as my main router/wifi device after a Verizon FIOS ONT - and an additional mr2200 at the other end of my loft to create a whole house wifi system.

A: This disc is meant to reduce the output of a given light source, when placed in front. That could be either a studio light source or when shooting outdoors in sunlight. It will reduce the light output by 2 full stops.
