The black Countryman I2 Bass Cello Mic Kit for Telex Wireless (Black)from Countryman I2 Bass Cello Mic Kit for Telex Wireless (Black)is a mic that has been built from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.

The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and captures detail for quieter instruments. Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the bass and cello mount, which sits securely behind the bridge with a positioning arm for placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a TA4F connector for direct connection to Telex LT wireless bodypack transmitters.

The I2 maintains excellent pattern control and frequency response at all angles. It offers uncolored recordings and reduced feedback issues.

Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the instrument mounts, which position securely and gently on the instrument for capturing audio.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning and consistent patterns.

The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions equally offering the flattest frequency response, lowest noise level, and is least susceptible to wind noise and vibration. It is recommended for recording and sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments such as percussion, guitar, saxophone, and piano.

Q: 5. Will this mic work with 4 pin ham/CB radios

[Phantom Power] As with all of Luxli's stuff (besides their original diffuser for the Cello) the barn doors are very well thought out and very well built. Really easy to attach and just feel solid, and made the cello feel like a much more legitimate looking light. No brainer imo at this price. As another reviewer said there will be weird lines projected if you dont use some kind of diffusion, but thats just because the light is made up of an array of LEDs. Also highly recommend the new diffuser for the Cello, it's an absolute treasure compared to the original.

[Black] I purchased it to use internally to amplify my UDU drums. It worked great at amplifying all the deep bass to high trebles and doesn't clip due to sonic pressures created when playing the UDU. The microphone was recommended to me by top professional UDU players and they were right on the advice. Best microphone I have used yet for this purpose. I also tried it with my Native American flute and attached it to the fetish leather bands. Worked great for that application also. Highly recommended!!

[Omnidirectional] If you need a cardioid lav this is a great choice. This is a great mic and much needed upgrade for the Sennheiser wireless kit. A little small and delicate if you are used to the Sennheiser lavs, but sound MUCH MUCH better.

[Omnidirectional] I purchased this microphone and the Countryman battery powered module to use for amplifying UDU drums. It exceeded my expectations!! Excellent microphone for this purpose and for amplifying Native American flutes. Can't wait to try it on the silver flute and saxophone. If you want a Microphone to use inside of UDU drums where you need to amplify the sounds they produce yet reject the heavy compression created inside of drums this is the microphone for you!

[Omnidirectional] ....and with these you get a GREAT headset. This was the second round of headsets I ordered after being displeased with the build quality of another brand that I had previously ordered. These are quality, solid built, headsets and the work perfectly for their intended purpose. I bought them for camera operators to use in a house of worship setting. The dual sided earphones offer ample sound isolation for our camera operators. The room noise level peaks around 90db and the camera operators have no issue hearing the director. Great Buy, will buy more in the future as needed!

[Black] Our Church was looking for replacement choir mics as the ones we had were over 10 years old and were black and our ceiling is white. After talking to one of the B&H staff, they recommed this product, it isn't the cheapest and not the most expensive. Installation was a snap, the 50' cord is a blessing as some came with only 35', powerful pick up for such a small package. After installation most folks could no find them as they blend in so well. We may need one more mic for the size of our choir, but we were advised to try two as we could add more later if needed.

[Omnidirectional] i am a semi-retired, professional sports camera operator, out of the boston/hartford market. i have done over 2000 shows of varying levels. little league, to the world series and stanley cup. i was at low third for 20 years at fenway, and right handheld at the bruins for the same. i quit the bruins about 5 years ago, when i could no longer stand the noise level (PA generated) at TD Garden. and it's not just there. small arenas like Quinnipiac, Holy Cross, etc. seem to think loud equals exciting, thus, louder equals more exciting. one day at providence college, the truck happened to have these heads sets. i loved them immediately, as the noise cancelling was fantastic. they sound good too. both to me, and to others when i speak. i asked a techno-geek where i could get a pair. he sent me a link. my husband saw the link, and got me them for christmas. 2 shows in...maybe I'll unretire

[Omnidirectional] A great headset for noisy environments. Extremely comfortable being worn for long durations. More durable than many less expensive headsets.

[Omnidirectional] This Barndoor is perfect and it attaches easily and securely to the Cello and Cello 2. The doors are NOT flimsy and will retain the position no matter how your light is positioned. This is a must have and a very, very useful addition to your Luxli Cello! [I received this item in exchange for my honest opinion]
