[Yes] This lens is a huge value. It's sharp, it's versatile, and it comes at a great price point. We have it on a Sony 1500 running 1080i 59.94 and are very pleased. Rarely have to engage the doubler but so glad it's there. Highly recommend this lens with the MS-01 controls.

[Precut Foam] Yes, if fits the 35mm 1.4 and is a good alternative if you lost or broke (my case) the 35mm 1.4 original lens hood. There is no way you can find an original replacement for that lens, so if you want one the 18mm lens hood is the only original option. Only one warning: the lens hood front is smaller (a little bit), so the 35mm 1.4 lens hood cap won't work with the 18mm hood.

[Handle] Purchased this to store our new Fuji MK-R's (by Duclos). The lens mount and cap is a little larger than the mold. Makes sense as this case was molded for MK-E/MFTs. I had to do some shaving of the mold at the mount. Not bad but perhaps I'd contact Jason Cases directly to see if they can update this case or do the shaving for you(?).

[Handle] I've used this lens on a variety of shoots, and it's incredible. Very lightweight. Relatively low profile. Very smooth focusing with zero breathing. Some people have bashed it for being a T2.9. If there's a person in the world who can run-and-gun a doc shoot at T1.4 without a focus puller, AC, etc., then I want to meet that person post-haste and get some tips. For the rest of us mortals, T2.9 will do just fine. Especially if you're filming with an Fs5 or 7, which are already great in low light as it is. I always love the question in Q&A's, How did you make it so both people are in focus at the same time. Try stopping down to 4.5 or 5.6. That's where this lens gets awesomely sharp, and pulling focus is a total breeze as a one-man-band.

It's not for everyone. It's definitely a lower-contrast lens, a look that I happen to like, but looks different than Zeiss CP glass (or the 21-100 Zeiss zoom). The bokeh is beautiful on the MK. Even though having to change lenses (and buy the other) is a bit inconvenient, they're par focal, which makes things easier, and they're extremely light-weight, but seem to have good build quality. I rented, didn't purchase, so it's hard for me to comment on long-term durability. For what I do, higher-end documentary features and shorts, this lens is perfect.

[Handle] still lenses are very frustrating to go back to after using this lens

[Black] Love these things for little touch ups. The other day put a greasy thumb right in middle of lens. Just had to reach in a pocket and smudge was gone. If I see any particles, I’ll definitely use brush end. Maybe even a blower first. If it’s beach sand, this will stay in my pocket and I’ll break out cleaning kit

[17.605 lb] Replaces the original lens pen that I've had for years. Looks like exactly the same item with a Fujifilm logo. Works great and easily fits in my binocular case.
