The HIVE C-Series Para Dome Softbox 23.5" Smallfrom HIVE C-Series Para Dome Softbox 23.5" Smallis a 16-sided modifier with a deep parabolic design to offer sharp falloff that translates to directional control, which can be amplified with the included honeycomb grid. The Para Dome is a softbox that tames the light quality of the bright LEDs while reducing contrast. A bonus is the natural-looking catchlights that are reflected in your subject's eyes. The Para Dome has removable front and interior diffusers that can be used together or one at a time for contrast options. You could also conceivably use it as a large reflector by using neither. The Para Dome is compatible with all HIVE CX and C-Series Omni-Color LED fixtures but it can also be used with Profoto heads with the same front diameter.

A Manfrotto 026 Swivel Umbrella Adapter (Lite-Tite) B&H # MA026 can go on the bottom of the HS Speed Mount II to attach the softbox to a light stand.

A: Each rod would be fitted into their respective rod points on the speed ring.

A: This will fit up to 6" dome ports only. The AquaTech Large Dome Port Cover will fit 8" dome ports as well as the P-145 and P-135 lens ports.

A: The Nanlite Para 150 Softbox with Bowens Mount (59") can be used but is a bit too large for the Forza 60b and you will have a lot of light loss.

A: No, the Nanlite Para 120 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens Mount (47") has a Bowens mount and the speedring is not interchangeable with another.

[Yes, Removable] I use this with my ls a600d. With the combination, my setup time has gone from 1 hour to 15 minutes. I hardly use flash these days, this soft box gives me a lot of control with lights. best part, I can see what my camera sees without taking test shots. 5

[4.55 lb] After I purchased the Nanlite and was thrilled with it's performance, I decided to buy this soft box. It was a little bit of a hassle to set up, but now that it's up it's been amazing for our beauty shoots. We have another light so we basically never take it down, so I can't speak to the durability that some other people mentioned. If you're not going to have to be packing up this soft box a lot, I think you'll find it to be a great add on to your Nanlite system. 5

[4.55 lb] First off, this things is huge! I'm 6'1 210 pounds and I think I could camp inside it ha ha. Right now I have this paired up with a Nanlite Forza 500 as a down light over set and it covers a 35' radius area no problem! Plenty of nice soft light, don't even have to run it at full! Packed up it's in a long, but nice and flat bag. Barely takes up any space for it's size. Only minor beef, I wish it was the newer style of speedring setup where the rods open and click into place like the Aputure. But it's not that hard to set up, jut takes a little more wrestling around. I'd bet they come out with a version like that down the road. 5

[Silver] The soft box is a good size for a shoot. the velcro in can be difficult to attach completely but it does not matter because it works well. the product is delivered in a carrying bag with 2 diffusers. Good product La soft box est de bonne taille pour un shoot. les velcro in peut difficiles à attaché complètement mais ce n'est pas grave car ca marche bien. le produit est livré dans un sac de transport avec 2 diffuseur.
