The black Countryman I2 Mic for Audio Technica Wireless Transmittersfrom Countryman I2 Mic for Audio Technica Wireless Transmittersis a mic that has been engineered from the ground up for natural on- and off-axis frequency response, low-noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls. This tiny instrument microphone can be used to capture audio in sound reinforcement applications for saxophone, violin, viola, cello, double bass, acoustic guitars, piano, brass, and percussion instruments.

The I2 instrument microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and capturing detail in quieter instruments. It is supplied with a foam windscreen, a basic clip, and a carrying case. In addition, the 5' cable is permanently attached to the mic and terminates to a 4-pin Hirose connector for direct connection to Audio Technica AEW-T1000, AEW-T1000a, ATW-T1001, ATW-T35m, ATW-T601, ATW-T701, ATW-T75, and ESW-T211 wireless bodypack transmitters.

Flexible close miking techniques can be aided by the various selection of instrument mounts (sold separately), which position securely and gently to strings, brass, and more.

Small size and sonic precision makes this microphone suitable for X-Y, M-S, and other techniques that rely on accurate, coincident positioning, and consistent patterns.

A microphone with a figure-8 (bidirectional) pickup pattern is sensitive to sound coming from the front and coming from the rear, but has a very high rejection for sound coming from the sides. Great for mid/side and Blumlein stereo applications.

[Black] The recrding quality and size of he isomax 2 microphones make them the perfect choice for recording percussion instruments like frame drums, udus and other instruments that create internal sound which are hard to capture with an external microphone. The best result often is a mix of internal and external micing; my choice for he internal part is isomax 5

[Black] Our Church was looking for replacement choir mics as the ones we had were over 10 years old and were black and our ceiling is white. After talking to one of the B&H staff, they recommed this product, it isn't the cheapest and not the most expensive. Installation was a snap, the 50' cord is a blessing as some came with only 35', powerful pick up for such a small package. After installation most folks could no find them as they blend in so well. We may need one more mic for the size of our choir, but we were advised to try two as we could add more later if needed. 5

[Black] I purchased this microphone and the Countryman battery powered module to use for amplifying UDU drums. It exceeded my expectations!! Excellent microphone for this purpose and for amplifying Native American flutes. Can't wait to try it on the silver flute and saxophone. If you want a Microphone to use inside of UDU drums where you need to amplify the sounds they produce yet reject the heavy compression created inside of drums this is the microphone for you! 5

[Figure-8] With a hearing on the left and a cochlear implant on the right and add glasses I can still wear comfortable the headset. The voice pick up is always the same. It works! 5

[Black] We have had an older version of this headset for a long time. So when looking for a new one we wanted to go with a Countryman again. Straight out of the box this sounded just as we expected. If you are in need of a pro headset for a singer type...they are bulletproof. 5

[Phantom Power] If you need a cardioid lav this is a great choice. This is a great mic and much needed upgrade for the Sennheiser wireless kit. A little small and delicate if you are used to the Sennheiser lavs, but sound MUCH MUCH better. 5
