$297.00 $368.28

Available for download, Arturia's MEMORY-BRIGADE offers the sound of a bucket-brigade device in a plug-in form factor. This pedal takes its cues from the Memory Man, a classic vintage pedal that was beloved for its dark, filtered sound that distinguished itself from tape delays of the era. Now you can get this beloved lo-fi sound in your DAW for mixing and production applications.

The plug-in uses Arturia's TAE and Phi modeling techniques to analyze and reconstruct classic BBD circuits. It offers vibrato and EQ modualtion to customize the sound to your liking, and you can make use of chorusing to further tweak the tone. Drive it hard for vintage warmth, or use it subtly in your own creations.

Shape the input with low-pass, high-pass, and peak filters, and modulate it all with an LFO with 16 possible destinations. If rhythmic effects are your fancy, you can make use of an envelope follower for dynamic modulations.

The plug-in offers extensive presets, as well as built-in tutorials to get you up and running in no time at all. This plug-in is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will work in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats.

Q: 3. Does it require external speakers?

A: Yes

Q: 4. If you have a mic pre processor that provides gain, like DBX 286s, is there a way to bypass the interface’s gain?

A: By utilizing the mic preamp on the DBX 286s, you can adjust the gain for your mic at this stage. Then come out line level to the 1/4-inch TRS input of the Aturia Audiofuse. The gain on the unit cannot be bypassed, but with a strong line level signal coming in, there would not be much gain adjustment needed.

Q: 5. Does the MiniFuse go into standby when the computer is put to sleep, or do the LEDs stay on all the time unless you unplug the USB cable?

A: The Arturia MiniFuse 2 Portable 2x2 USB Type-C Audio/MIDI Interface will remain on as long there is voltage sent from the computer's USB port to the interface. When the computer goes to sleep, the interface will eventually shut down as well and the LEDs will also turn off.

Q: 6. Will this work with Mac Ventura? I assume software is downloaded.

A: The Savage Green Screen Software Kit is not compatible with Mac OS. It will work with Windows Vista and 7. The software is contained in a physical DVD.

Q: 7. Can I use 2 different pairs of speakers, either interchangeably (A/B comparison) as well as all 4 speakers at the same time?

A: The Arturia MiniFuse 4 Portable 4x4 USB Type-C Audio/MIDI Interface does have four analog outputs, which could conceivably be routed to four different speakers, but it does not have any switching controls. For A/B comparison between multiple speakers, you would really want to use a monitor controller.

[Download] I purchased my Mac Pro just so that I can start my own photobooth company. Just to find out that being a MAC user this isn't something that you would want to do with such an expensive device. I downloaded this software to test the device out but it wouldn't work. Thats when I noticed that you can only use this software with Windows.

[1 User] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[1 User] I had the Keylab61 MKII, but needed the hammer-action keys for orchestral arrangments, and just because I like the feel of a real piano. I read reviews that said the action is heavy, it is, but not in a bad way. Most real pianos I have played have a heavier action so maybe I am used to it.

Connectivity: Yeah, it's amazing with Cubase. I found a script online and I was off to the races. I open up the MIDI control center and adjust some user defined MIDI CC presets for a lot of my orchestral VST's, and easy peasy.

Build Quality: The Komplete Kontrol everyone hems and haws about is plastic and more expensive, it also doesn't integrate as well as they would like you to believe. This thing is metal, and beautiful with wood accents. No, you don't get a big LCD screen, like I need another screen, I have two 32 screens already.

Bottom line, if you want something that you can feel expressive on, has all the MIDI sliders and knobs you need to fiddle about, or make your orchestral arrangements sound more realistic, this is it. I love my Arturia. They are like teenage engineering but affordable.

[1 User] I was looking for a controller that had a real piano feel but also integrated out of the box w/ my DAW (Logic). It was between this and the M-Audio Hammer 88. This one looks and feels much higher quality and has a lot more onboard controls that allow me to do most of what I need in Logic right from the Arturia controller. It looks really great in the studio too!

[Download] This is a fantastic sounding single oscillator synth. It offers something unique compared to BOTH hardware & digital synths. It’s almost like it should be mandatory in everyone’s synth kit.

[Download] This is a solid MIDI controller with nice feeling semi-weighted keyboard. It has lots of integrated controls for modulating the included Arturia synth plugins and good integration with many popular DAW software packages. I opted for the semi-weighted 61 key version due to recovering from 60+ years of making parts and hand issues. There is an 88 key piano weighted version also.

[Download] My husband played a real piano & keyboards he was younger but hasn't played for years. He wanted to start again and debated between the KeyLab 88 MKII and a more traditional stand alone piano-type keyboard. He's so happy we went this route.

He uses it with Logic Pro and feels the KeyLab offers the perfect amount of features without adding unnecessary things. He hasn't yet figured it all out, but it's great to sit down and play freely or to record using the software and create a song.

The build is excellent, with a metal body and wood accents. The action of the key bed is excellent and is much closer to a real piano than non-weighted keys. The additional weight of the keys makes playing at different volume levels very easy.

One complain that he had was the lack of documentation on how to set it up and integrate it with different DAWs, but Arturia's tech support is top notch and quickly replied with a long and detailed emailing showing step by step directions on how to set it up with Logic Pro. Plus, their website has a great FAQ section and detailed user manuals that cover how to use most of the keyboard's features.

In addition to a great keyboard, the unit comes with some wonderful software. It includes Ableton Live Lite for those who don't already have a DAW. It also comes with Piano V/V2, which is a piano software add-on worth $249 by itself and Analog Lab, which is a collection of older (from the 80s I think), classic synthesizer sounds worth $199.

So, the keyboard itself is a great item for the price, but when all the additional software is included, the KeyLab 88 MkII is a wonderful item.
