[0.785 lb] I got the OEM Nikon dummy battery from the B&H used store, and this unit works flawlessly with it in my OG Z6. I've used it along with an external recorder and a large SSD to record multiple hours non-stop, and on my desk use it to power the Z6 as a web cam while working. In the few weeks I've owned it, it's been flawless in hours of continuous use. If you're worried about using this non-OEM adapter, or if you can use it with the OEM Nikon dummy battery, in both instances it's been perfect for me. 5

[0.785 lb] I do long-run (overnight) exposures. The lack of a battery grip on the Canon R7 could have been a deal breaker. It turns out this was a better solution: you can run the camera off the AC for as long as needed. Also, this lets you charge the battery in camera when not shooting. This is a great convenience, and at a better price than Canon's equivalent. 5

[0.785 lb] I was looking for a 12 volt power adapter with a long power cable. The Bescor power adapter has a wall wart power adapter with a 6 foot cable to the DC power end. I wanted to operate my AndyCine monitor on my camera and plug the power adapter in at the floor because it is difficult to have to mount it on the tripod so it isn't dangling. This adapter is perfect for my needs. I'm glad I found it at B&H. 5
