A: There's no reason why the line inputs should not work normally. Try isolating the problem. Make sure nothing is muted, all gain/volume controls are up, and you have a good signal coming into your mixer. Then check to see if all channel line inputs are inop or just that particular channel. If any or all line inputs do not work, do the xlr inputs work? Check to see if you have a signal from the insert. This is pre-fader, so if you do and there is still no output post fader then the problem is somewhere between your gain circuit and and output .

The unit uses a AA battery to handle the power needed and that is a big plus. It mic can operate as a mono shotgun mic, or a stereo mid-side mic with a built in decoder that makes mid-side work and gives a more spacious (more ambiance) sound than a mono shotgun. I own dozens of microphones and this is a worthy investment for those seeking better audio than the on board camera/camcorder mics can manage.
