[6.5' / 2 m] I purchased this as a travel tripod and backup to my primary Feisol. This is just what I was hoping for. Fairly compact, but solid and sturdy. The ballhead is also more solid than I was expecting, although to be clear, it's not on par with the bigger, professional heads, but it operates smoothly and does the job. The twist locks operate quickly as well.


I've only used it a few times, but so far so good. Definitely recommend, especially travel and even a great tripod for a TALL beginner!

[5/8" Stud] I have used many tripods over the years, and I'm always looking for a light-weight yet rugged tripod for all my needs. I do landscape and astrophotography and have found that most of the tripods in this height range are quite heavy. That is not the case with this one. I love its light weight, easily adjustable legs and the secure leg locks. As of yet, I have nothing to complain about with this purchase. I really like it.

Without considering price, this is an absolutely incredible tripod. It does everything I need it to do and it does it all very well. Cost was not an issue for me and I considered the Peak Design tripod, but that one just isn't tall enough for me.

My Geekoto CT25Pro Craftsman has seen constant use over the last year and I cannot think of anything that needs improvement. The twisting leg locks are easy to use and are secure. I can grab and twist all three locks at one time on one leg to extend them. The ball head supports my camera with a 150-600mm lens without problems.

Love the light weight and strong/sturdy design. This replaced a 40 year old tripod and I'm hoping this is the last tripod I buy. I don't doubt it will last a long time.

[Yes] I really like this tripod. It's very versatile and quick to set up and take down. The only thing I had a problem with is the central column, when I took it out to turn it over I had trouble getting it back in. This was a small problem for me because I mostly use it upright.

[Yes] I was looking for a light weight tripod I can also use as a light stand. And this is exactly what I was looking for. I don't like to buy tripod just for weight and compactness. Because I think that is usually useless and not stable. But this has all the elements I wanted because it goes up to 79" so it can be used as a light stand as well

[6.5' / 2 m] I ordered similar tripods and other equipment through a familiar online store but the products were subpar and not as advertised had to return all of it. I received my B&H products exactly as advertised but better than I hoped for. I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone who is in need of a good tripod. I will definitely continue to order all of my products with B&H!

[6.5' / 2 m] I'm 6'3 and need a tripod that can reach my eye level, but don't want one that's too heavy. This was a good solid choice at a reasonable price. Reasonably stable even using the center column. No complaints!
